Is Superman a direct reference to the Messiah?
The story of Superman tells us that he was born Kal-El on the planet Krypton, he was sent to Earth as a baby by his father Jor-El, just moments before Krypton's destruction. The character was created by writer Jerry Siegel. El in biblical names is a direct reference to God.
"Superman El" - has one occurrence in the Torah Codes, with Lear - joining to El.
Name Lear Important,
Eliel = God is Great.
Superman in biblical Hebrew translates as "Adam Elion" or "Super Man"
Adam meaning Man, Elion meaning Supreme/Superior.
A second Torah Code was discovered with the extension "Ray Superman"
Ray, Ra-El, and The Name Lear are all included in this matrix. These Torah Codes are a direct confirmation of the names of the Returned Christ.

In many ways; heck yes, awesome, snazzy parallel, bro. In other ways, I feel like Supes also exemplifies the popular view people have of a messianic figure. Someone whose power defies all reason, flying through the sky with lasers from his eyes (heat ray, 'scuse me) to directly intervene in every porblem concerning humanity, whether manmade or otherwise. Someone who inspires many to better themselves, while simultaneously absolving the world of self-accountability. All without (deliberately) taking a single life, too.
RayEl is quite the opposite of those traits, but he is nonetheless the recipient of those common expectations, so even that side of Superman applies to him, in a less direct way.
