Syria Will Be Completely Destroyed, Either Today, Next Year, or Someday

No words, no sides, just the word of God re: Damascus. It has always been inhabited but someday will not be inhabitable. Let's pray that today is not that day.

Though I would love to vote for every comment on this post, I want this one to be non-monetary because the whole thing is very sad. I am not taking sides. Reliable information is the hardest thing to find.

What is reliable? People on the ground (without an agenda).
Actions and motives of players.
Historical actions of countries involved.

I am, however, cynical toward my country of birth. They have declassified documents showing that they had staged pretenses for WW2, Vietnam, Iraq and frankly all wars they have pushed.

No need to upvote the comment.

I see it as a geopolitical clash between the USA and Russia, both countries that need the war, or better said the tension so that their economies thrive.

Both are losing field in influence because there are economies that are doing far more better than their own and the fastest and surest way to fuel the economy is the arms race. China, EU are more powerful from economic point of view than the USA and Russia. China is hard to crack where the EU is much more easier, with a Brexit and extremist rising in the East of it.

The ones that are suffering in the end are the poor people. Most the ones affected by the war. Also the tax payer are affected because weapons cost money. I'm not left, more on the center-right. I don't agree with war, or at least the war in this form.

Again, I had forgotten about that prophecy. I'm wary of all countries. I'm convinced they are all controlled by the same group.

I think I've mentioned you this in the past but one of the deepest videos I've seen is about the Hebrew alphabet and the Torah, more pricesly the science behind it. If this science was more widely understood it would clearly get us closer.

I've written a post about it but it really needs to be reworked. I'll publish it eventually.

There's only something like 3-4 short bribe that make this 30 minutes video one of the most incredible but it's totally worth it. The whole documentary is 10 hours.

syria condition is very dangarous. destroy day by day. thanks for sharing.

@hebrew,
No matter who started, war kills people and vanished everything infront of it! So, no matter which party does, war should be eliminated.
Great you decided to discuss about it!
God bless all innocent Syrians!

If the coming defeat of isis and rebel forces in Syria was supposed to bring an end to the seven-year conflict there, no one told Iran, Israel, Turkey, Russia, or the United States.

Consider the stunning events that have occurred in the last three weeks alone: Last month, Turkey, with Russian approval, launched a military offensive in northwestern Syria against Kurdish fighters it views as terrorists and America views as counterterrorism allies. Last week, the United States killed numerous Russian mercenaries who were advancing on a U.S.-Kurdish base in eastern Syria. Last weekend, Israel intercepted an Iranian drone in Israeli airspace and struck Iranian and Syrian military targets in Syria, prompting Syria to shoot down an Israeli fighter jet and Russia to reportedly pressure the Israelis into holding their return fire—for the time being at least.

This isn’t just another spasm of violence in a seemingly never-ending war. This is about confrontation between the world’s two largest military powers, America and Russia; between two nato members, America and Turkey; and between sworn enemies, Israel and Iran. “There is something different about this,” said Faysal Itani, an expert on the Syrian conflict at the Atlantic Council. “It’s never been as much of an international war as it has now become … I know it’s always been portrayed as that, but that was never really true.”We’re moving from the Syrian Civil War to the Syrian War,” just as Lebanon’s civil war morphed into an international contest over Lebanese territory in the 1970s and ’80s, argued Andrew Tabler, a Syria-watcher at the Washington Institute.

Previous international flare-ups in the conflict, such as Turkey’s downing of a Russian warplane that entered Turkish airspace, or America’s bombing of a Syrian air base over the Syrian government’s use of chemical weapons, occurred in the context of the civil war, Itani told me. With the exception of Israel, every foreign actor involved in Syria picked a side in the struggle between President Bashar al-Assad and the armed opposition to his regime. Now Assad, propped up by Iran and Russia, has prevailed over the opposition. But none of these foreign actors is satisfied with the status quo. As a result, each is probing how far it can go in securing its interests—often quite literally, as with Russia, the United States, and their various allies tussling over territory along the banks of the Euphrates River.

“The question left is a) who controls what in terms of territory and … b) who is allowed to get away with what,” Itani said. “What are the things [each party] can and can’t accept? What are the risks they’re willing to take? These are not things that the governments can sit down and decide unilaterally. They have to test the other side out.”

“The Syrian war has now been outsourced,” said Christopher Phillips, a Syria scholar at Queen Mary University of London. “The decision-makers are now not really Syrians, perhaps with the exception of Assad.” Foreign involvement in the civil war first took the form of “diplomatic support, then it was economic support, then it was material support for fighters, then it was fighting themselves directly. … And I don’t see why that shouldn’t continue.”

Turkey, for example, isn’t willing to accept the entrenchment of a U.S.-supported Kurdish militia, which the Turkish government associates with Kurdish insurgents in Turkey, right across its border. The United States seems determined to hold ground in Syria to prevent the resurgence of terrorist groups and frustrate Iran’s plans to extend its power across the Eastern Mediterranean. Israel shares America’s goal of countering Iran, particularly at its border with Syria.

Russia, meanwhile, is bent on preserving a friendly government in Damascus and a military presence on the Mediterranean, while casting itself as a global power player on par with America. The Iranians—currently “the single-most influential player” in Syria—are “trying to establish a long-term strategic military infrastructure in [Syria], build missile-production facilities, move precision-guided munitions,” Itani said. Both nations “are upset that the United States is not departing the country,” Tabler said

Excellent write up. I wanted to comment that Turkey seems to have pivoted from the US to Russia and back again over and over. The US had nuclear weapons at a base there at one time and Turkey took down a Russian jet. Now Turkey is on board with Russia and has signed off on their pipeline project, traversing their country. Like a hooker, Erdogan is moving from one customer to another, unreliable at best via historical alliances and actions.

Great post sir.
War destroys everything.
Soldiers experience war differently than civilians, although either suffer in times of war, and women and children suffer unspeakable atrocities in particular. In the past decade, up to two million of those killed in armed conflicts were children. The widespread trauma caused by these atrocities and suffering of the civilian population is another legacy of these conflicts, the following creates extensive emotional and psychological stress. Present-day internal wars generally take a larger toll on civilians than state wars. This is due to the increasing trend where combatants have made targeting civilians a strategic objective.A state conflict is an armed conflict that occurs with the use of armed force between two parties, of which one is the government of a state."The three problems posed by intra‐state conflict are the willingness of UN members, particularly the strongest member, to intervene; the structural ability of the UN to respond; and whether the traditional principles of peacekeeping should be applied to intra‐state conflict. In this situation we have to work in a unity to defeat the terrorist attacks. And again spread the peace all over the world.✌☺💚

Thanks @hebrew sir for sharing this post.

Russia claims it has irrefutable evidence that the alleged chemical attack in Syria was a staged event assisted by British intelligence. Do you believe that independent analyses should occur to determine the truth and that if it is a fake event designed to invoke war, anybody involved in the West should be tried for war crimes against humanity?

What I feel intutively, "Divide and conquer, they were trying to own our mind. Sow seeds of doubt, that's psy wars games, they been both playing it with us since the dawn of man. The elite are the powerful these days, no sepration. May's hubby Trillion club. Putin who the hell knows. Who ever did it, ww3 is not worth that, but getting to the bottom of it, must be a must."

Another reason could be for war on terror and our current dilemma. Both sides are trying to win us over to win who takes the pipeline. 🤔

I think it is about the pipeline. I heard that 3 British soldiers were taken prisoner by Syrian forces at the scene of the attack and I listened to interviews on the ground from people working at the hospital, nobody had been treated for chemical symptoms, only 6 treated for smoke inhalation.
I learned a long time ago not to trust my country's politicians - and now even Trump. He is turning his back on logic and reason.

When a boxer is winning, he does not start punching himself. When a building is completed, they don't start knocking it down. When a good meal is eaten you don't start throwing up. When US forces are leaving (never having been invited), you wave good-bye, you don't bomb the people.

This was not Assad - no motive.

As much as I love my country, I hope the Russians destroy every US/UK plane and ship in or near Syria. I pray that Israel stays out of this completely. Assad never gave them problems.

I know, that's the exact case. The Syrian Arab army and the Russia's advanced much quicker than the west expected. This caught the terrorists off guard. The SAA and Russian army found not only the studio used to film the footage of this false flag, but they also caught 8 British soldiers which you already mentioned about what happned to them.

So trust me when they say they have proof unlike the UK and USA they really do. Read 21st century Newswire hey have reporters on the ground in Syria telling the truth not msm propaganda.

It sure would be great if we had human beings running country’s and corporations and not psychopaths. That type of world is possible, but without unity, love and compassion ~ it just seems impossible at present with our present world governments.

My heart goes out to all those poor, innocent people, who are suffering so much due to this greedy, power, control, self-surving agenda. I pray and wish that this sufferings of those innocent ones stop right now, sending love your way, to everyone in Syria. We will get through this together as a world.

Syria has been mentioned in many places in relation to the blessings about events that will occur there marking the nearness of the hour.
Im afraid that the significance of the war in Syria is for sure one of the events that will lead to the Major Signs. This could be the the beginning of the end of times.

Humanity is killing in Syria . But who care .

This is very bad happen in Syria . May God bless and preserve peoples of syria .

In the end, it doesn’t really matter. No signs or disasters, war in Syria 🇸🇾, or anything should ever change the way we act. The end has always been near, he’s coming back. No one knows, and no amount of signs will ever reveal to us a day or time. Everyone should always be living with a sense of urgency, no matter what. We should always be praying, always be helping, always be spreading the gospel. Signs of the end age or times are nothing to focus on.

they are in danger....

it's sad. it was not supposed to be like that.unnamed.gif

Oh, yes, you are absolutely right, what is happening in Syria, just some kind of insanity and let's pray that there would come a peaceful life! Thank you @hebrew

The Syrian war has been a slowly unfolding catastrophe, one that has embroiled nearly the whole world. why it became so complicated and what might happen next

Allahuakbar! What kind of world is that? Is it true that the world is coming to an end? I do not know God knows.

The attack on Syria comes just hours before experts from the UN Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) are scheduled to visit Douma on Saturday to determine whether chemical weapons are used there or not. What other secrets are there?

Thanks for sharing @hebrew & have a wonderful day!

The next prophetical event for SYRIA in these End Times is for its capital, Damascus, to be destroyed.

Today's Headline News confirm the nearness of this foretold event and its timely readiness to occur with all other Bible prophecies which are lined up now.

It will take place either 'just before' the 7 Year Tribulation begins or 'right after' it begins.

If it were to occur 'after' the Tribulation period begins then Damascus' destruction would occur in close timing, if not at the very same time, with Israel's near-future destroying of Russia's military forces from the north on Israel's own mountains which clearly occurs 'after' the Tribulation period begins.

Either way, Damascus' existence is about to SOON become non-existent. This could occur by either Israel's air force strike, or by the USA or even be bombed by the SYRIAN Rebel-citizens themselves, among other possible ways.

The Syria war is basically political. For the sacred text has long said everything. Human progress may transform us however the sacred text continues as before. As both the Assad government and the Rebel decline to go down, the war zone will be Damascus. I simply distributed a post about Syria, RESTEEM

the united states and israel have no credibility, this is their war of aggression and the leadership of both countries should go to prison, of the entire concept of post world war 2 international law is a farce.

the entire conflict in syria is because of israel's aggression and refusal to live peaceably with its neighbors, it is no different than germany's invasion of poland.

the same applies for turkey's invasion, it is a war crime and a war of aggression, if there is no penalty then world war 3 has started and there is no end in sight, so start building your bunkers or get in the mif you got them.

edit: eggregious wrong word

I agree tough I believe Israel tries to appeal to the UN in vain - but they try. They are against all odds and tolerant like Russia. Sanctions on Russia has made them rich and stable. Being off the dollar and buying gold instead hedges them against the coming inflation. The only ones fairing badly are the US and anyone on their side or anyone they bomb.

I hope Russia sinks a few ships and stands its ground. They WERE invited to help, and they won it when Obama could not.

My country thinks they have the right to control everything in every country. I am happy that Bush, Clinton, Obama and Trump have not waged war on your soil or deposed leaders there. From what I heard over the years Israel is the leader in technological innovation for medical cures/devices as well as armaments eg; Iron Dome.

I have great respect for your people and your heritage. I will be there soon. I have many invitations from fellow steemians who follow me.

must say that I don't think there is simetry between the empires (US and Rusia).

I think there is a good guy- America, and there is a bad guy- Russia.

my point is that America is a democracy. and if some leader will do something really bad like support mass murder like assad doing in syria there is an American people that has power over his leader.

in Russia putin can do whatever he wants without limitations. that's bad.

I am proud that Israel is standing next to US at this battle.

Hmmn
Whenever Yeshuah speaks, it can never go without effect. He has said it but the time is not known. But He's a God that shows mercy and compassion. I pray he shows compassion on Damascus because the hardship and destruction will be a great one

Syria's situation is very changed from the initial days of "Arab Spring" and continuously changed from one phase to another. Nation wide protests to armed resistance of Free Syrian Army, then rise of Islamist armed groups to the rise of ISIS, Rebels controlling most of areas to losing it to ISIS and then Pro-Assad forces. ISIS fight against Kurd militia groups and US led coalition's campaign against ISIS, Fall of ISIS due to fight against rebels, Turk, Russian, Syrian,Iranian, US and Kurd operations against it and rebels defeats from ISIS and pro-Assad Syrian, Iranian, Hizbollah and Russian forces/militias and losing of vast areas, Divisions among rebels which led to infighting and rise of Islamist groups in Idlib and defeat of pro-US ,Pro-Saudi and Turk rebel groups from Syrian Islamist and Jihadi groups and now compromising with Turk intervention against Kurd in Afrin and retreating from many areas of their last strong hold Idlib. That's the phases Syria gone through but what's coming next? that's the real question and I will try to find the answer.

Here is your forum when you find it. I look at all the names FSA, ISIS, Moderate Rebels, all as the same. I view each by their actions. If they are crucifying children or beheading people, they could be categorized as IS terrorist types, if they are fighting against the people who commit atrocious acts, then they are not so bad. Sadly, my country makes up names that misrepresent everything and anything as mentioned in another comment.

If the Russians don't obey the West, and dare to support the Syrian Army in liberating the Syrian oilfields in the East, the Western Intelligence Services will make sure the Russians lose another airliner filled with civilians. They already lost one in Egypt when started their intervention a couple of years ago in Syria, and they recently lost another one in Russia.
I'm pretty sure MH-17 was their work too, to send a message to Russia as well as to Malaysia. But I don't think the Russians are planning to back off, after hearing Putin's latest speech.

It would seem that way. not to mention all of the "oops" moments in airdrops to ISIS and accidentally hitting Russian forces.

I respect Putin's patience. He is not reactive and he at least realizes the gravity of the resulting war we are headed toward. I had hoped the current president was working for peace. Those supporters that are walking away from him should be respected because they are backing a certain results rather than a certain person.

thanks for sharing such informative news.@hebrew

I don’t really believe in myth or predictions but i am sure that it’s going to get destroyed cause USA and Russia are doing their work very properly as murderers despite being the members of uno and holding veto power, uno is shit. If only syria had nuclear weapons, those two wouldn’t have dared to attack and bomb them ,it would have been a different outcome.

OMG! Syria, I hope your wound quickly ends. Aamiin!

I pray their situation turn around for good. Who will want to be in such condition. May God show mercy!!!!

it is being destroyed since ages and now there is nothing left other than blood, shame on humanity, this is slap over us

President Donald Trump on Wednesday in a Tweet told Russia to "get ready" for U.S. missile strikes in Syria, seeming to confirm that the United States will launch punitive strikes against the government of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad over the suspected chemical attack his forces are accused of carrying out.
Trump’s Tweet appeared to have been prompted by comments from Russia’s ambassador to Lebanon, which were widely reported Wednesday morning, that warned Russia would fire not only on any U.S. missiles targeting Syria, but also the units launching them. Trump in his Tweet responded to what he said was Russia’s “vow” to shoot down “any and all” U.S.

Yes sir @hebrew ..its very true syria will be completely destroy ..Syria condition totally very dangerous ..thousand of people was killed ,even do not show sympathy to children, children too have been killed..Humanity is being shamed by killing children in Syria..its very sad condition of Syria.. I feel helpless when I hear news about Syria I can't do anything for them.. But I always pray for Syria people ,god safe them and bless them.Such a good post.. Thanks for sharing us

Syria's circumstance is extremely transformed from the underlying days of "Bedouin Spring" and constantly changed starting with one stage then onto the next. Across the country dissents to equipped protection of Free Syrian Army, at that point ascent of Islamist outfitted gatherings to the ascent of ISIS, Rebels controlling the greater part of territories to losing it to ISIS and afterward Pro-Assad powers. ISIS battle against Kurd volunteer army gatherings and US drove coalition's crusade against ISIS, Fall of ISIS because of battle against rebels, Turk, Russian, Syrian,Iranian, US and Kurd activities against it and revolutionaries massacres from ISIS and star Assad Syrian, Iranian, Hizbollah and Russian powers/civilian armies and losing of immense zones, Divisions among rebels which prompted infighting and ascent of Islamist bunches in Idlib and thrashing of genius US ,Pro-Saudi and Turk revolt bunches from Syrian Islamist.

Informative post about syria

Syria is in trouble now...

Some online comments we have seen suggest – without any evidence – that this is not the same girl we see being rescued and carried away.

When there are conflicting stories, we need many independent investigators in the country to stop the story telling and start the fact telling. Story time is not productive involving provocation and response between nuclear countries. Agreed?

An extraordinarily salient description of geopolitics today.

I am extremely alarmed at this evolution of the Syrian conflict. That such flimsy justifications for direct US military involvement are being essayed indicates to me that further escalation is definitely on the table.

That is a terrible disappoint to me, as I had thought that the rapid defeat of ISIS during Trump's first year indicated this war would soon end. It no longer appears even a little bit likely that I was right.

"You can't see the new empire on a map, so people assume that it isn't there, but the only reason you can't see it on the maps we were trained to read in school is because the new empire isn't in any way limited by geography. It is unconcerned with the little lines drawn between the countries on our plastic classroom globes, or the different colors their manufacturers painted the different nations with. The nationless band of plutocrats who use governments as tools and weapons are not limited by those things. They don't think in those terms. They don't care about land and governments, they care about money, power, and influence. And none of those things are geographically confined."

Rather than being irrelevant, national borders and institutions are being co-opted as weapons against the peoples therein. The solution to this isn't nationalism, but agorism, and the obviation of the weapon states represent to freedom.

I sure am glad I followed you. If I hadn't, I'd have missed this post, which I consider seminal.

Thanks!

Allah jate tader sohai houk..

The Latest: Russia Warns of Consequences After Syria Strike
The spokeswoman for Russia's Foreign Ministry is denouncing the United States for launching airstrikes on Syria.

WASHINGTON (AP) — THE Latest on U.S.-led missile strikes on Syria (all times local):

11:55 p.m.

The spokeswoman for Russia's Foreign Ministry is denouncing the United States for launching airstrikes on Syria. She says the attacks hit a long-troubled country "that for many years has been trying to survive terrorist aggression."

In a statement Saturday on Facebook, Maria Zakharova is also taking Western media reports to task.

Zakharova says: "The White House stated that its assuredness of the chemical attack from Damascus was based on 'mass media, reports of symptoms, video, photos as well as credible information.' After this statement the American and other Western mass media should understand their responsibility in what is happening."

Sakharova is comparing the situation to the start of the Iraq War in 2003 based on claims Iraq was developing weapons of mass destruction.

5 reasons why the Syrian civil war won't end anytime soon

https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTtR-MEP48_irf_GwyFx6L9J8jrqXrpKp-9OK1BYnW7dJqxoxO0

The image of 5-year-old Omran Daqneesh, injured and traumatized by fighting in the Syrian city of Aleppo, captured the world’s attention.

Footage of the bloodied and dust-covered boy went viral after it was provided by Syrian journalists at the Aleppo Media Center. It shows him sitting in an ambulance, rubbing his head and looking surprised at the blood on his fingers.

Boy, dazed and bloodied, becomes the face of Aleppo

He is one of innumerable casualties of a civil war that has raged for more than five years: hundreds of thousands of killed, millions of refugees who’ve flooded neighboring nations and millions more trapped in a humanitarian crisis. Yet the war grinds on. Despite repeated attempts at a lasting cease-fire and world outrage triggered by tragic images such as Omran’s, an end to the fighting is nowhere in sight.

Here’s why:

The country is irreparably divided

The fighting, which started in March 2011 with a crackdown by Syrian government forces against non-violent demonstrators, has pitted part of the country’s Sunni majority against the ruling Allawite minority, which has allied itself with other Sunnis, Kurds and Christians. Neither group of combatants shows any willingness to stop fighting short of total victory.

The divide is apparent in Aleppo, once Syria's most populous city. Syrian regime forces who control the western part of the city fight alongside Kurdish forces. The eastern part of the city is controlled by rebel forces who are mostly Sunni Arabs. Their battle for control has left the city in rubble and 2 million civilians desperate for food, water and medicine.

Though every part of Syria is unique, Aleppo in the northwest is critical, said Fabrice Balanche, a visiting fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. "It's a key to the Syrian civil war because if the regime loses Aleppo, it means there's no chance to keep the unity of Syria," Balanche said. "If the regime controls the city, they will control all the north of Syria."

The division is now worldwide. I am looking at two things. Pictures are heart wrenching but today everything can be photo-shopped. I would like to find examples of Assad hurting his people before the pipeline was proposed.

What did Syria look like before superpowers started drooling over pipeline routes. Tourist attraction, Christians and Muslims living side by side, Assad allowing several belief systems to exist as they had for thousands of years.

What other countries look like after US intervention, Libya, Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, etc.

I imagine if Assad had been taken out early on, that ISIS would be in power. I mean, if Russia had never stepped in, who would have "won" and taken the country's government over? Would you suggest another plausible outcome?

its so sad news dear sir
Adult adults are trying to save the life of their own lives, and the next generation But the aerial bombardment means everything is blurred.

There is no childhood here. Once upon a time, the happy, prosperous city has left childhood. From UNICEF, the city of Aleppo has been named as "The Most Dangerous City in the World for Children". Unicef has said in a clear language that this city, which has been devastated for a long five year war, is no longer suitable for living.

it's really a sad news for syria..@hebrew

Uncommonly notable depiction of geopolitics today. I am amazingly frightened at this development of the Syrian clash. That such feeble avocations for guide US military contribution are being tried demonstrates to me that further acceleration is certainly on the table. That is an appalling baffle to me, as I had imagined that the fast annihilation of ISIS amid Trump's first year demonstrated this war would soon end. It never again seems even somewhat likely that I was correct.

After 1945 Europe said “never again” but never again is happening before our eyes in the Middle East, says Guardian columnist Natalie Nougayrède

yria is a European crisis as well as a Middle Eastern one, and the world’s worst human rights disaster in decades. Historians may one day tell us to what degree the west wasted a chance to force Bashar al-Assad to the negotiating table, had sufficient and timely pressure had been brought to bear on his forces, in particular through targeted strikes. That’s how Slobodan Milošević was forced to sign the 1995 Dayton agreement, which put an end to mass atrocities in Bosnia.

Fighting resumes in eastern Ghouta despite 'humanitarian pause'
In the summer of 2013, a window of opportunity was arguably lost as a result of American hesitation. If archives are ever opened up, we may learn that it was the US failure to uphold red lines over chemical weapons use in Syria that emboldened Russia’s Vladimir Putin to launch his military intervention in support of a dictator whose army had been massacring civilians since 2011.

I’m not writing this to whitewash European policies. British restraint, or rather abstention, on Syria predated Barack Obama’s. And France, whose fighter planes were ready to take off in August 2013, could hardly go it alone. Still, trying to connect the dots between the Middle East, Russia, Europe, and how the US chooses to act or not act, remains important. The ravages of war in Europe’s vicinity, and the spillover effect of Middle Eastern chaos, are developments whose impact is yet to be fully measured.

There have been half a million deaths in Syria, and we’re still counting. The first victims of the slaughterhouse were in the Middle East, not Europe. Yet we are connected to these atrocities in ways that go beyond our on-and-off capacity for indignation as we sit watching television images of children being bombed in their hospital beds in eastern Ghouta.

In the heyday of post-cold war optimism, Europe was supposed to be able to export stability. Instead, in recent years, instability and chaos have spilled into Europe from the outside. The European project was born from the need to ensure the past wouldn’t repeat itself. Today Germany is a reluctant hegemon in Europe and an even more reluctant military actor. Britain and France are former colonial powers in the Middle East whose influence today looks insignificant.
