Compared to China, this seems a bit expensive.
Are these prices normal in Taiwan or is it just this area? Considering that it's mostly for locals, it should be less expensive than near tourist sites.

Apart from the bean curd desser which is a bit more expensive, the rest are about normal. Not sure about China prices as I haven't been for years, but I imagine the large major cities won't be far off?
Well, the problem with the major cities (Beijing & the like) is that it's getting harder & harder to get proper street food. The chengguan are everywhere, driving away the street vendors. & if you go to a restaurant, I suppose, it would be comparable in price.
On the street, the price should be at least 1/3 lower, I think. (Don't know about Wah Kway, though. Have never seen this. Looks a bit like a kind of zongzi without the leaf.)
