Ice Age Farmer: Bread & circuses keep the masses asleep...and they are taking away the bread:
Drugs, ... I should cut down on valium, but it ain't easy under these circumstances. Methadone is easy to cut down, but to quit is not that easy. What more do we have? Alcohol? Nicotine? I don't like alcohol, and cola is way too acid, but rum and cola taste really good. Sugar, we are addicted to sugar, most of us. And then there are those small scrying mirrors, those tracking devices people can't seem to get rid of. I'm staring at a monitor all day myself.
What were you saying? Anti-depressants! Prozac = Fluoxetine = Fluoride! Fluoride kills pineal glands. That's why it's in the water supply. They really don't want us to ever find out what we can do with our pineal gland.
We create reality with our minds. How they gonna keep us enslaved if everybody knew their body could health itself and all energy is free? Bit blunt but what can I say its truth
That's it! That's why we won't have any monetary systems. It's because energy is free, that's why. As a whole, as a species, we would do so much better without money. Just imagine you hit your toe, pain needs to reach your brain. The damaged cell says to the next cell: "Ow, I'm hurt. Could you pass on the message please?" And the other cell, whose job it is to pass on such messages, says: "Sure! That'll be ten dollars please."
Let's manifest something nice. Current reality is pretty crappy. Much love! And PEACE of course.
The fact that America allow drugs to be advertised on TV is astonishing!! We don't have anything like that in England, I think so anyway. Not watched any TV for over 5 years now and was the best thing I ever did😊
What's weird is that I saw a lot of them growing up in Canada as TV stations in Canada often just rebroadcast American TV when convenient. I was like 8 seeing Cialis and Viagra commercials, we get that western propaganda everywhere
Hive!!!
Hive, indeed ^^
The best platform for this, for sure :j
HIVE ON!
I told you to go Linux years ago, when your showed your laptop with windows, and you switched just now!? smh
I barely dumped windoze myself just a few years ago. I had a ton of money invested in programs that only run on win too, so leaving win is not easy for most people. Luckily though, I discovered Linux Mint (Cinnamon edition). It was an easy migration away from win and it has tons of free software (like LibreOffice, Gimp, Inkscape, VLC Media Player, IPFS desktop, etc). Mint also has a very familiar interface which is easy to transition to away from win. There are a ton of different flavors of linux and desktop environments to choose from too, so anyone looking to finally dump microsoft win should seriously consider it.
Just backup your necessary data to usb stick (bookmarks, contacts, notes, downloads, etc), then fdisk, format, and install linux on the nice fresh hard drive.
Here is a good start imo:
https://www.linuxmint.com/download.php
One thing I love about linux mint is that is has never crashed, not even once. No more BSOD's! Once I dumped win and installed mint, the first thing I noticed was how FAST it runs. My computer literally was running faster than it was when it was brand new. Oh yeah, and it's FREE. :)
Yeah, it's pretty tough getting rid of things we're accustomed to and invested in, but in case of dropping weendose for Linux, it's definitely worth it =)
I've been using it for a while and it's so much better than Kill's garbage X)
I tried it once and it was pretty good. I'll probably swap to it soon when I get a chance.
I always liked Linux more because I'm geeky like that but never made the switch for the reason @kencode said earlier. It has the most supported software, but just because something is easy doesn't mean its right and times are changing and from what I have seen Linux is becoming much more user friendly and supported by devs
Good software is multi-platform, you listed all my favourites - shoutout for OBS Studio as well, I love all that good stuff, but handsdown if you need those Proprietary Drivers its still Windows as the industry is a total head fuck. I'm a big Debian fan for many years.
Oh yeah OBS Studio is freakin awesome too! There are a lot of new online radio stations popping up, especially for "politically incorrect" and pirated music. With OBS, Youtube is f*cked. :)
Hey Ken. I have a persona favor to ask you. Could you delegate some of your Hive power to me so that I can increase my resource credits refresh rate etc? Also I don't know how to send you a pm on this platform.
I get that request from time to time, but I would rather use all of my RC and HP to get the video creators some income and exposure. The dollarvigilante.tv site is very new and by helping them, it helps the platform and exposure for the Hive chain at the same time.
Your RC recovers quite fast actually and the more upvotes that you get, the more HP you receive, and hence the longer your RC lasts. So, just keep interacting with the platform (see also hivedapps.com) and your HP will grow and grow organically :)
kencode, I'm looking to pick up a Raspberry Pi unit to use Linux on and start building & getting familiar with it as I make the switch. Do you have any suggestions on the best place(s) to purchase one? I have one place I've located but wanted to see if there were better purchase options out there before I ordered it.
Sorry, I sure don't. Tons of places online to buy them tho :)
Man, Linux is the best! Used to have problems with drivers, but no more. Even gaming is better then ms for some games. The software is so abundant. If you find your way around programs, you can easily learn new one for Linux. There are free open source software alternatives to everything. OpenCut is so good for video editing, Inkscape for vector graphics, gimp - photoshop, Blender - 3d animation, VirtualBox - virtualization, remote desktops, all. You can make any distro look the way you want no matter arch, debian based. Puppylinux you can run from a small flashdrive and have operating sistem in your pocket. Love it. I turned my family to Linux, my boss switched the work computers to Linux. Why pay for microsoft spy-ware that is laggy, buggy and so normie. I've been using Linux for dozens of years and I'm no programmer. Degoogle your phone with Lineage, etc.
Awesome video. Would love to see some more Dollar Vigilante merch.
Great show as always, but please don't give Lucy Kill Bill's fake meat xD
Haha, "I wouldn't give that to my dog" just gained a new meaning =D
You forgot to mention your compatriot, Serge Monast from Quebec.
Dero coin? How to buy?
KuCoin and TradeOgre would be your best options.
My favorite is TradeOgre, it requires no KYC at all \o/
yeah if you have some crypto send some to trade ogre its a privacy exchange essentially
Luckily in Australia no resource shortage exists. Fuel from normally $1.30-50 to $2.00 been happening since 2010 - Nothing to make a huge fuss over. Meat has only doubled since 2010 as well but I will add they are of better quality under a vacuum seal since 2018.
Where is this "the world is ending narrative"? It ain't here.
At most places it's not showing that much yet, since the entire world's economy is being artificially pumped right now. This will however soon end and that's when things get interesting.
