Sending an 'Email' Database 1980's style

The year is 1984 and this is how you would send an Email Database.
Just think about this for a moment....
....1984, that's only 33 years ago..!!
So to say that it will take approximately 5-7 years to have full Global Mass Adoption of BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY by 2022 sounds about right to me.
In order to see exactly how long the adoption of Technological Advances will take in the future, you simply have to look in the mirror..!!
Thanks again for watching.

Pretty amazing glimpse into the past... You could be right about the timing; it IS a major technological change.
There were about 200K people with Internet access when I got my first email/online account. It was "weird tech" for deep nerds and creepy pedophile stalkers, in the eyes of most. That was 1993. We hit a billion users (i'd consider that "mass adoption") in December 2005... so that was 12 years.
"We hit a billion users (i'd consider that "mass adoption") in December 2005... so that was 12 years." You are absolutely right. People forget that actually "mass adoption" of the Internet really only occured in 2005. Thanks for the comment. I hope everyone reads it. Stephen
Hmmm, 1984... George Orwell, the first reaction. :)

I was about to make a post about this but Im glad i googled "Steemit sending email in 1984" and found ur post first @stephenkendal ! hey im already following u! nice!
And wow that noise at the end, did my brain just receive an analog software file??! hahah the idea of sending a software program file over the air waves and using a microphone in front of your TV set connected to a fucking tape recorder hahahaha man the 80s computers were cool in their own way but u cant help but laugh!
I was more impressed by th color TV video transmission they recieved! Howd they do that??! Haha that was more hi tech than the email! I guss it was analog TV signal! or maybe digital by then in 1984 but Its funy how video was so terrible in the 80s and 90s digitally at least streaming and video had to be reborn digitally and work its way back up to being usable onlike because early computers didnt have the power to process live digital high quality video untill the Divx Mpeg4 codec came out for pirating movies!!!!! Remember Xvid??! People should thank video piracy for having netflix anyoutube today!
man i LOVE this old 80s computer stuff!i used to hate it because i am from the 80s or born in 1987 and retro stuff seemd old and stale and obsolete it took 30 years to make it cool again because our current compuetsare THAT much faster now!wwe had to get stuff fast enough to catch up with our own minds in a lt of ways
