Reg. your argument about looking at people's character, passion, vision, intelligence rather than being obsessed by figures and projection, that's the type of approach VCs are taking to evaluate the potential of companies they invest in. You'd probably make a good VC. Are you investing in other companies? In these times of bearish equity market, I'm looking for good stocks to handpick that have chances to significantly outperform the (sluggish) economy. I'd be really interested to hear your views on other companies you are following.
