I think you're doing well here for a few reasons:
- You have been very consistent. You've been posting almost every day, maybe even multiple times a day for months. You were even doing this when the price dropped way down and there weren't many active users. There was a long period of time when you weren't making much on the vast majority of your posts, and you persevered through those hard times.
- You post quality work.
- You engage with people frequently and form genuine connections. (This results in getting more followers.)
- You've been very generous, and the need for reciprocity is a strong human emotion. If you do something for someone else, they feel the need to repay you in some way. On Steemit, that usually means upvotes.
