RE: One Thousand and One Nights: The Story of King Schahriar and his brother King Schahzaman: Part Five - Fable of the Donkey and the Ox and the Plow Master (1/2)

in #the-1001-nights2 years ago

The story of the donkey and the ox, a fable I have heard many times.

Where we can see the good intentions of the donkey with the Ox, but he did not know that the one who was putting the rope around his neck was going to do the donkey. When the ox did not perform the tasks, the donkey had to do it, but the donkey did not believe that the master was going to place the obligations on him.

But in the story that I came to read, the master did not listen to what the animals were saying, this part of the story was unknown to him.
