So the vizier tried to prevent Sherehazade to go with the King, telling her a fable.

But, as we all know, it will not work.

Part Five

So the vizier said to Shererazade: “Take care that what happened to the donkey and the ox with the master of the plow does not happen to you! So listen:

FABLE OF THE DONKEY AND THE OX AND THE PLOW MASTER

Know, O my daughter, that there was a merchant, master of great wealth and cattle, married and father of children. Allah Almighty also gave him knowledge of the languages of animals and birds. Now, the place of residence of this merchant was a fertile country on the edge of a river. In the house of this merchant, there was also a donkey and an ox.

One day, the ox arrived at the place occupied by the donkey, and found this place swept, and watered; in the trough, there was well-screened barley and well-screened straw; and the donkey lay well at rest; or else when his master rode him, it was only for a short errand which happened to be urgent; and the donkey quickly returned to its rest. Now, that day, the merchant heard the ox saying to the donkey: “Eat with delight! and may it be healthy, profitable, and good for your digestion! Me, I am tired, while you are rested; you eat the well-sifted barley and you are served! And if from time to time, your master mounts you, he brings you back very quickly! As for me, I am only used to plowing and working in the mill!" Then the donkey said to him, “When you go out into the field and they put the yoke on your neck, throw yourself down and do not get up, even if you are beaten; and when you get up, quickly do it again for the second time. And if then you are made to return to the stable and the beans are presented to you, do not eat them, just as if you were sick. So try not to eat or drink for a day or two or three. In this way, you will rest from fatigue and pain!"

However, the merchant was there, who heard their words.

When the herdsman came to the ox to give it fodder, he saw it eat very little; and when, in the morning, he took him to work, he found him ill. Then the merchant said to the herdsman: "Take the donkey and have it plowing instead of the ox all day long!" And the man returned and took the donkey instead of the ox, and plowed it all day long.

When the donkey returned to the stable at the end of the day, the ox thanked him for his kindness and for letting him rest from the fatigue of that day.

But the donkey did not give him an answer and repented the strongest repentance.

The next day the sower came and took the donkey and plowed it until the end of the day. And the donkey only turned around with its neck scratched and exhausted with fatigue. And the ox, having seen him in this state, began to thank him profusely and glorify him with praise. Then the donkey said to him: “I was very quiet before: now, nothing harmed me except my good deeds." Then he added: “Yet you must know that I am going to give you good advice; I heard our master say: "If the ox does not rise from its place, it must be given to the slaughterer to be sacrificed and to make leather for the table with its skin!" And I am very afraid for you, and I advise you of salvation!"

When the ox heard the words of the donkey, he thanked him and said: “Tomorrow I will go freely with them to go about my business." Thereupon he began to eat and swallowed all the fodder and even licked the bushel with his tongue.

All of this! and their master listened to their words.

When day broke, the master went out with his wife to the dwelling of the oxen and cows and they both sat down. So the conductor came, and took the ox and went out. At the sight of its master, the ox began to wag its tail, fart loudly, and gallop madly in all directions. Then the merchant was seized with such laughter that he rolled over on his behind. So his wife said to him, “What are you laughing at?" He said to him, “Of something I have seen and heard, and which I cannot divulge without dying. She said to him: "You absolutely have to tell it to me and tell me the reason for your laughter, even if you were to die of it!" He said to her: "I cannot divulge this to you because of my fear of death." She said to him: "Then you're only laughing at me!" Then she kept quarreling with him and harassing him with obstinate words, so much so that at last he was in great perplexity. Then he brought his children into his presence and sent for the kadi and the witnesses. Then he wanted to make his will before revealing the secret to his wife and dying: for he loved his wife with a considerable love, seeing that she was the daughter of his paternal uncle and the mother of the children and that he had already lived with her one hundred and twenty years of her age. Moreover, he sent for all the relatives of his wife and the inhabitants of the district, and he told everyone his story and that the very moment he told his secret he would die! Then all the people who were there said to the woman: “By Allah upon you! put aside this affair lest your husband, the father of your children, die!" But she said to them: "I will not leave him alone until he has told me his secret, even if he were to die of it!" So they stopped talking to him. And the merchant got up from near them and went to the side of the stable, into the garden, to first perform his ablutions, and then return to tell his secret and die.

To be continued...

Then the merchant said to the herdsman: "Take the donkey and have it plowing instead of the ox all day long!"

I laughed when I got to this part of the story! How naive the donkey is, giving such good advice to the Ox not knowing the merchant could hear them. I admire the donkey for its wisdom but the reality is: a person has to very careful before dishing out advice to another person because the universe can turn the advice to work against the advisor!

That's what happened in the tale of the Ox and Donkey. The merchant wisely made the donkey do the ox's work so as to teach it a lesson. And it learned in a harsh way! In all these drama, only the Ox was ignorant of all that happened. 🤣 So I see why the merchant laughed and fell on his behind —the Ox was gullible!

What I don't understand and agree with is why the merchant's wife wants to know the reason behind the laugh. Even after the merchant revealed that he'll die after revealing the reason, she still insisted. Why is she desperate to become a widow? I see she's terribly curious and believed the merchant was making fun of her but she should have trusted that her husband was not laughing at her. I hope the merchant doesn't die after he reveals the gift he has. Does this mean Sherehazade represents the "donkey" in this fable? Anxiously looking forward to the next chapter and hoping the merchant survives! Thank you 😊😊

Some people have a bad habit. My Dad has a friend who always lie about his health condition so that he will not go to work. That is very bad.

He is a very lazy man who does not want to do anything. Then why did he take the job? If he knows that he is not willing to work, he should not do it at all instead of lying abiut his health condition. It is a very bad habit. What is worth doing is worth doing well. We should learn to do things rightly becaue it even boosts up our reputation.

This is why some people complain that their workplace does not care about the lives of the workers but the workers also need to understand the fact that some lazy workers will lie that they are not feeling too well so that they won't go to work.

I wonder why they will expect themselves to collect full salary when they did not do the full work which they are supposed to do.

I hope to see the next part of the story. I am waiting to see something. Hahaha
Keep it up, my friend.

We have a saying "People who are poor in line can never be successful" In simple words, it means that people who are told to do the thing they will only try to do the same way told to them, they do not have ability even a small decision on their own, they cannot give it because they do not have the ability to do so. An example of this is that a student prepares a answer for a paper and forgets to write it down word to word during the paper, the student cannot answer the question with which in his own words because he has not prepared it, he can only write what he has prepared, he cannot do anything using his mind.

"Copying also requires intelligence" An example is also described with us. I would like to explain this example in such a way that people who cannot use their brain while copying, For example, two students are sitting back to back giving a paper and one of them gets the paper and the other doesn't, and the one who does not get the answer is sitting behind and he is copying the answer of the one in front of him, when the student in front wrote his name at the end after finishing the paper, the student behind also wrote his name because the student sitting behind was copying what the student in front was writing. He didn't even know that he had to write his name here.

Same in the story, whatever donkey ask to do to the ox, ox doing this blind with knowing results of that and advantages or disadvantages of that. This is exactly how people use others today mistakes are those who blindly trust others and do what they are told to do. If they had any sense personally, they would understand who is advising them and who is using them. Those who believe in the words of others in this way are not deceived by anyone else, but they themselves are deceived. No one can use a person unless that person is ready to be use.

I'm thinking about the workplace, where some people intentionally pretend to be sick or lazy in order to gain unnecessary special treatment or reduce their workload. However, this behavior is not acceptable in the workplace, as bosses will not tolerate employees who do not produce value. Although sometimes bosses may not take immediate action, if employees perform poorly for a long time, it will not only affect the company's production efficiency, but also damage the company's image, and ultimately affect the work environment of the entire team.

In the workplace, bosses usually closely monitor employees' performance, including work efficiency, attitude, and quality. If an employee performs poorly, the boss will motivate or correct the behavior through various means, which may include training, providing more resources, or directly firing the employee. Bosses generally have high sensitivity and judgment in this regard, and can accurately judge employees' performance at work. For employees who pretend to be sick or lazy, bosses can often see through their tricks.

Therefore, in order to succeed in the workplace, employees must always maintain efficient work performance to prove their value and abilities. Whether facing work challenges or personal problems, employees should actively seek solutions instead of avoiding or pretending to be sick or lazy. Only through continuous effort and hard work can employees gain recognition from their bosses and obtain better career development opportunities.

Today's episode was interesting, the Vazier doesn't want his daughter to the Sultan to make his night delightful, but the Shehzaade has something else in her mind, and that is why she Told the father to let her go.

On the other hand we have a story of Donkey and ox, this story is somehow related to humans who always lie about their when their boss ask them to do work on their work place or some people took holiday by telling lie about their help.

When we were kids, we use to do it to when we don't want to go to school, Fake cough and pain in the belly was the two excuses we use to make :D

In the Story, the donkey gives the ox suggestion to do fake excuse, so that the master will not take him to the work, but he wasn't aware that master was listening them and on the next day he took donkey to the work instead of OX.

now because of his fake lie suggestion he has to do all the work all the day , and I think is the Punishment for what he has done.

"No good deed goes unpunished" This is a popular saying in many cultures that makes us reflect on human nature. We usually see this as something negative but it is nothing more than our ability as humans to survive in life.
And if we don't like it, we can always believe in Karma or any other religion. That if the benefits are collected in another life in this it is better not to wait for them to arrive.

After reading this whole story today, I was thinking that the lesson we get from this story is that if we think something wrong about someone or tell a lie, then within a few days, wes may be with us.

In which their master was listening to how they pretended not to go to work but when the master heard it, he knew that they did not intend to, so he did the same way. should have. For example, let me share with you a childhood story that there was a child in our class who used to lie to the teacher a lot and every time he took leave,

He said that someone had died in our house, but he died. It would not have happened. Then one day, our teacher met his father outside, then he told the whole story to his father. Then when the teacher found out the truth, he insulted him a lot in front of the class.

The way these two were now making a plane together, the mirror and the dinky, and the way their master knew but they didn't even know that their master knew everything. And the way his wife was laughing and asking what happened, then he told the whole story to his wife and told about them both.

The way they lied and they didn't get it as punishment for lying, they had to work day and night otherwise we wouldn't have had to work so much.

No matter how big the wrong, one day its secret is revealed in the same way that their secret is revealed, and then only man is ashamed. Didn't understand that when he told the whole story to his wife he died he was going to die didn't understand that.

The story of the donkey and the ox, a fable I have heard many times.

Where we can see the good intentions of the donkey with the Ox, but he did not know that the one who was putting the rope around his neck was going to do the donkey. When the ox did not perform the tasks, the donkey had to do it, but the donkey did not believe that the master was going to place the obligations on him.

But in the story that I came to read, the master did not listen to what the animals were saying, this part of the story was unknown to him.

Then the vizier said to Shererazade: “Take care that what happened to the donkey and the ox with the master of the plow does not happen to you!

This story that he tells is telling him to be careful not to be as naive as the donkey in the fable, who had to do his friend's job to help his friend. Even though the ox saw everything the donkey did for him, he still turned to the one who was sick to get rid of the tasks of plowing the land.

In life, this story is seen many times that it takes advantage of the friendship and nobility of a person, that it does not matter that his friend is exhausted doing homework, but rather that he continued to pretend to be sick for his friend to do homework.

“However, you should know that I am going to give you good advice; I heard our master say: "If the ox does not rise from its place, it must be delivered to the slaughterhouse to be slaughtered and made leather for the table from its skin! And I am very afraid for you, and I advise salvation! "

But despite the fact that the donkey was noble, at the end of seeing that his friend who was doing it was continuing as sick, he had the brilliant idea of telling the ox that he heard his master say that he was going to send him to the slaughterhouse since he was not performing his homeworks.

But the ox believed his words since he saw that at the beginning he helped him, but he did not realize that it was to activate him again to his tasks.
