RE: Steemian Investor Vs Steemian Trader: Which One Are You?

in #thealliance7 years ago

My hubby @shai-hulud and I are investors for sure, we invested and haven't moved anything since and that was 3 months ago, we have seen it go up and then up a lot and then down some and some more. All in all we are still double our initial investment and people keep asking why we don't get out now and it's because we decided to commit for 5 years and if we win we if we lose we lose.

Our motto, HODL & never invest more than you can afford to lose!

That's the long term commitment you need to keep as an investor. Sometimes, you might decide to alter your time frame based on whether you achieved your ROI goal or not. Also, one of the lessons I learned from studying the way warren buffet invests is that he would never sell an asset (a cashflow producing investment) unless he uses this capital to buy a bigger asset with a higher cashflow. Robert Kiyosaki also uses the same investment philosophy in real estate.

That's some good advice. We like Robert have read a few of his books.
