Does EMDR work like this? The therapist told me that I don't want to change and I should stop wasting money for treatment. She said that I will end up alone, while the rest will have created their families.

That’s not how any therapy works. At best this therapist had a meltdown. At worst, she’s not competent or skilled enough to help you, or is just a bad fit for you.
