That is a nice boost but NOT what I would expect from a "Research Center". I would expect (and enjoy) something like 1-2% reductions of Skill Enhancement Costs (and Times) per level.

Yes! I joined DELTA clan and made lots of new friends.
REALLY IMPORTANT! The developers need to create some conditions/goals that offer regular rewards. People are currently very frustrated because there are no obvious goals/rewards to strive for.

Yes of course. Some german speaking people are now my friends in the close area.
some more kind of visuality in the menue would be awesome. Like for the Skills, when i have missed the ressource for example the Mission Control, it shows red numbers - i have to switch over to my buildings and check the capacity of the silos - this would be an improve when those numbers are displayed on the skills ( missing ressources ) too.

Of course it is very useful that the Research Center increases the storage capacity now, because the limited capacity of my depots is one of the factors which are preventing me sometimes from upleveling skills or buildings.
The current level of my Research Center is 13. The game server seems to be down at the moment so that I cannot check it out to be 100 % sure, but I want to finish writing my comment now. :)
My impressing fleet consists of two or three explorers (sometimes one gets lost and then replaced again). :)
[Now, as the game is running again, I could check it, and to my own surprise, crurrently I am owning 5 explorers altogether.]
No friends (just some very bad enemies), I have always been a lone wolf and still are. :-)
What could be possible improvements?
As I have NO friends at all, maybe a messaging system within the NextColony GUI would be interesting. So I could contact other users or beautiful alien girls which are flying past my planet without the need to open Discord all the time.
I think one should get a "huge red" warning message (within the GUI of the game! Not in Discord only; maybe combined with a sound, lol) if someone is approaching for attacking one's planet(s).
It would be nice if explorers could find other interesting objects/rewards apart from planets (just be creative, so I need not to name any examples). :-)
Furthermore I think it is important to protect small players (which normally should be the majority of players to guarantee the sucess of a game). I didn't think about how exactly that could be realized, but I am having some ideas:
a) If there is a huge disbalance (determine a factor here!) concerning the fleet size of two possible opponents the stronger player should not be able to attack the weaker player more than X (it's on you to think about a suitable number for "X") times within a certain time frame (for example twice a week).
b) If a defender knows that he is getting attacked soon, but has no possibility to defend himself, he should at least be able to stop his production (or would you like produce anything for the conqueror of your castle in a real war?) until the attack is over.
What about an overall ranking list of all players? Then small players like me could at least see how well they are doing compared to users of similar size ...

one specifically near my alt, I am in DELTA and DACH, i had a fellow DACH member attacking me for exploring near them and they destroyed my explorers I had at the time there, i proceeded to script a python attack bot and extort him on steemit for 3 days until he wanted me to stop. we are friends now :p
I wish as an improvement for the game that maybe in galaxy when you click on a planet
maybe it shows a tiny popup of resources available and shipcount.

I think it is a good idea but for me it doesn't seam to fit the lore so well to have a research center being able to increase the storage capacity
It was 1 and I upgraded it to 2 when the update came out.

Yeah I made some sort of farming agreement with @powernap in my region and I also met some new german Steemians in the Dach Guild.
A bit more complex battle system. A battle system where some kinds of Ships are better against a specific other kind of ship , so that not only the number of your ships is important, but also the composition of your fleet.

Finally is good to have this building at least for some purpose. Increase of storage capacity is probably not a bad choice, though that might be something really new in the game, like allowing you to see bigger map on a screen for example with every next level :D This is pain...
So starting now to rise levels of IT.. currently maybe 5 or 6 max...
Tss.. thats a secret.. tho everybody can see in block chain of course, but better not to advertise too loud :D

More comfortable UI. Having to switch menues so often is rather annoying. for example I want to attack somebody, but I forgot to switch to the desired planet. Now in the attack menu I have to go completely back and redo the entire process. It is not a big deal, but it adds up.

I like the Idea, even though there was already another option to increase your productivity percentage.
I am currently upgrading it to level 2. Before it didn't have a use and as I am still only 2 weeks in, I would rather gather resources or improve skills that were beneficial

The protection level of depo was way too low to play the game when your neighbors are using bots to farm. I like the new way of increasing protection level by buying very cheap research center buildings

No. I don't see any point of that because currently the only winning strategy is to run a bot which moves your fleet, activate shield and build things for you
Make even chances for human players and bot users just be making very small changes:
For both of those things every bot users just write a few lines of code. Human players cannot sit and watch the game 24h a day so for them:

The one thing I would like to see is an Empire view of Assets, Resources and planets etc. Right now we don't even have a full planet view. I would like something the will keep me from spending an hour looking through each planets sub menus looking to see if I missed anything.

The Game will take it's time to get all the casual features we know of browser and online Games. An unusual feature I would like to use might be custom Shipyard Brands.
Could work like that:
(should be very long, at least a Month for big ones)
That would enable Guilds to gather Ressources, research very big Ships and then trade them. As long as the Money/Stats value is constant and independent of the size, they could even be infinitely big.
