Apology Resolution signed by Bill Clinton in 1993

We didn't learn about this in U.S. history class. Also, this "apology" didn't make our news at the time. If it did, i'm certain it was downplayed as a mere necessity at the time and was accepted.

This is equivalent to the U.S. making Iraq a territory. Why wasn't Iraq annexed after the invasion or Japan after they surrendered you ask? Because it is against International Law to do so. It is illegal to do so, as it was illegal to do the same to the sovereign Kingdom of Hawaii.

The Kingdom of Hawaii has a constitution (1840) and also had treaties with many nations- U.S. included- that announced a neutral position on any global wars. Yet, The Kingdom of Hawaii was invaded by U.S. forces that protected prominent businessmen and aided in the takeover.

Things that people accept are not always what they seem.

I will be writing more on this in the coming days.

Yes, the younger generation are not taught this, The truth sickens me and people don't realize that currently what is left of the true Hawaiian bloodline is losing their culture and their land just as "American Indians" have. I'm sure you've heard project Mauna kea. It is terrible that it is happening in front of our eyes and we are allowing this to happen.
It was and still is the rape of Hawaii.

Yes, it is indeed sickening. Before my grandmother passed, we discussed the indoctrination into american culture and history. She even told me to never go there- and reside. I have a lot of family that live in Holualoa.

Your grandmother is right, only do business and have real estate because the cost of living is ridiculous. You could essentially create your own Hawaii wherever you are and it would probably be cheaper lol.

Interesting facts. The things they don't teach us in school...

The sad thing is, my elders do not even talk about it. My grandmother would always tell me it was very bad and thats all i needed to know. We do have several projects aimed at sovereignty restoration, but economics play a big role in that. This is why put most of my time into crypto and community development around crypto.

Is monica under the desk? ..hehe :D Dirty steem-joke ( dont flag just fun :D )
