Tradeqwik Customers Buy Nearly 40,000 TQS Since First Dividend Payout

in #tradeqwik7 years ago (edited)

Tradeqwik's first dividend payout resulted in many more people buying the TQS asset. There are now 62,103 TQS (out of 100,000 possible) owned by shareholders! That is an increase of nearly 40,000! Tradeqwik now boasts 749 users.

The decision to pay out in each individual currency or asset in which the trading fees were generated received overwhelming support. To quote one happy Tradeqwik customer, @freebornangel, "I think I like this way better, it makes a faucet out of the exchange." Yup. A weekly faucet that pays out in multiple currencies. A faucet where the claims are automatic. You buy your TQS once, then do some trading throughout the week, and your faucet pays out at the end of the weekend.

The situation where Tradeqwik paid out 100% of the trading fees to shareholders instead of the expected 20% will be repeated at various milestones to celebrate. So, if you're thinking of buying some TQS now, but you missed out on that first double 100% dividend payout, don't worry, that's not the last time this will ever happen. Normally dividends are paid out on 20% of the trading fees, but sometimes there will be surprises. That's part of the fun of being a TQS shareholder.

I'm not going to run through all the math today, but the dividend earnings estimate goes as follows. If we were to pay out the week's dividends today and you were to convert your earnings all to VIVA, and then project this over an entire year, the yearly earnings per TQS in VIVA would be 0.0214 VIVA per TQS. This would result in an APY of 0.2164 percent per TQS. Actual results will vary wildly because all of you will have different strategies for how to maximize your gains from each currency or asset in which TQS dividends are paid.

I bet some of you are going to write articles about your strategies. If you do, be sure to post a link to them here or otherwise get in touch with me @wiser and Tradeqwik might resteem your post. Our customers' stories are just as important as our story.

And with that, here come the numbers...

A 100% divy:) I gotta say I like that.

Love owning TQS feels like the best thing I've bought after my crown of course!

The %100 dividend was a nice surprise, but it will seem like a drop in the bucket over 52 weeks. This is a fun investment product!

Thanks for the information. Appreciated.

What are the advantages of VIVA CROWNS over TQS? Can you please give me brief @tradeqwik?
I'm still pretty new here and I'm confused

That is a good question, and a great topic for a future article. The short answer is that TQS is an asset that entitles the owner to their part of 20% of all the trading fees collected on Tradeqwik. Tradeqwik is a key component to the VIVAconomy, as it is where people can hold and trade their VIVA. A VIVA Crown is essentially a software license which entitles the owner to run a VIVA mint if they want to. The VIVA mints serve a similar purpose as nodes in other cryptocurrencies and they are also where new VIVAs are made and put into circulation. Crownholders have a vote in determining the supply of VIVA to be minted in a given quarter. Crownholders are often also given assets in other entities of the VIVAconomy. For example, when TQS was issued, all Crownholders were given one TQS per Crown held.

Thanks! Now I understand it better :)

Crowns allow you to print money from nothing, TQS's pay dividends on the exchange's fees, as I understand them.

I'm curious about a small part of your article.

"You buy your TQS once, then do some trading throughout the week, and your faucet pays out at the end of the weekend."

Does this mean that you have to be an active trader during the week to get paid dividends? Or can you simply own TQS without trading and still get paid dividends?

You do not need to be an active trader to collect TQS dividends. However, dividends come from trading fees, so being an active trader helps increase them :)

Thank you . Success to you in your positive endeavors

Good infos, I like the analysis, thanks

Bought some TQS shares a few weeks back, bought some more earlier this week! Love me some passive income. :-)

If I want to join his way @tradeqwik

Great to hear! Keep up the great work!

Intersting. I'm a crypto newbie, and I'm always learning more about Tradeqwik. Please keep me up to date! Need to learn more. :)
