RE: My 40-hour international terminal experience so far (LAX)

The lounge is the answer and glad you thought it was a good decision. The ones I have been in have shower facilities etc so definitely great for freshening up besides the food and drink. Comfort levels you can at least stretch out and lie down so the $60 spent is well worth it in this case. Maybe next time I will try a sleeping tablet because I do not sleep on flights and not from a lack of trying ether. I am looking at the premium economy next time I fly which is in a few weeks time.

There were no showers here unfortunately, that would have been a really nice touch. Plugs were everywhere, the staff were super attentive and friendly, and there was just a happy vibe inside the lounge. This is a stark contrast to what it is like down below were most people seemed to be on edge...lol.

I recommend Ambien or Zopistat (may have spelled that slightly wrong) for flight tranquilizers. you're basically forced to get 6 hours of sleep once you take one of those. The only downside would be that it kind of has groggy after-affects as well. But to me, I can get some strong coffee to counteract that.
