Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @rockmen:

Excellent View From Terasa U Prince. A hidden gem of old town. The rooftop bar is a great place to go for some drinks with a view. At night or during the day lovely views. Spectacular views from the restaurant. Definitely worth to visit because they have the best photo spot with the nicest view of the Old Town. If you are looking for a terrace with a beautiful view of Prague old town and the castle - this is the place! Especially if you want to propose or simply impress your girlfriend!

Finally. The clock resumed a few days ago. The big reveal! Love Orloj, the colors are so bright now. The blue is brighter than when I got tattoo few years ago. I loved watching this clock when we visited there!

If I am not mistaken this is the first image of the restored Orloj. That sure deserves a featuring as the main entry. Thank you so much and have a great weekend. Tomas

Beautiful natural surroundings of the Silver Lake in Opava reflected on the water surface. The lake used to be a gypsum quarry that got flooded by the nearby River Opava in 1964. Soon after the quarry got filled with water, the place became a popular relaxation area for residents of the region and even international visitors from Poland as Opava is located very close to the Czech-Polish border.

Surely one of the most eccentric elements of the Czech capital. The dancing house, two crooked buildings that seem to paint the dancing embrace between Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. A remarkable, modern, futuristic structure inserted in a completely opposite environment. Worth a visit at least from the outside, maybe arriving with a walk along the Vltava.

So glad to see that the renovations of the astronomical clock are completed and you can marvel at this icon of Prague. The clock is great and attracts a big crowd. We had to visit the newly reconstructed Astronomical Clock in Prague and we did not regret it. Everything is new. I definitely recommend visiting and consulting all the work. Alternatively, wait until an hour for the Apostles.

Old Town Square
For me one of the best squares in Europe. The monuments are have fantastic architecture and the surrounding environment is magical! Probably the most beautiful square I have ever seen, and I have seen many. Cheerful, witty, beautiful, I think it is the largest of all the attractions of the beautiful capital of the Czech Republic. You can spend the whole day there and indulge in the cafes, the huge hot dogs, and there are musical concerts every day in the churches and the local monasteries. A beauty.

Today I want to reward my eldest son of 8 years who has taken with his Nikon compact 5 megapixel photo at sunset one of the last evenings of our holiday in Prague from Most Legiì in the direction of Charles Bridge. The photo is very nice to be a child to take it and I want to show it.

More than a month ago I did not have time to go somewhere to take pictures. That's why when I was driving from northern Bohemia I stopped at a beautiful castle in Nelahozeves. This castle is located approximately 35 km north of the center of Prague.

We visited Hotel U Prince and had drinks in the bar on the ground floor. Whilst chatting to the waiter he suggested we visit the rooftop bar - Terasa U Prince. Oh my, what a way to spend time with friends enjoying one of their many cocktails, the sun was shinning, the view was stunning and the cocktails delicious. Great views across Old Prague, the castle, The Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock whilst enjoying cocktails with interesting names like Basil Swizzle, Zombie and Hurricane! They also serve food on the rooftop, although we didn't have any what we saw on neighbouring tables looked delicious.

Spectacular charles bridge with a fascinating and magical atmosphere. I have visited this bridge several times and its charm has always struck me. While walking in the bridge you can actually feel how it was done hundreds of years ago. The series of statues and the view around them is unique and remarkable.

It's a subway station on line A and also a square that I discovered at random because the hotel was in the vicinity. It is not a sought after tourist spot but it is worth going in the late afternoon after d having known the other sights in Prague. In the square is the Church of Sta Ludimila. The night the square was dimly lit the two times I went, but there were always families, children playing, couples of lovers, people walking with pets.

Church Of St. Nicholas
Although the biggest fresco in the roof was under renovation, and the church room was full of scaffolding, this is simply one of the most beautiful churches I have visited! Here are the big amounts of gold and pink marble, as well as beautiful frescoes! The church is very well maintained. You can not visit Prague without visiting this church!

This Prague Castle is amazing. We watched the changing of the guard and got to go into the cathedral. It is breathtaking and you should really go and see it. There is free admission for parts of the cathedral. No visit is complete to Prague without a visit to the castle that dominates the city skyline. If you can, go early to avoid the crowds and enjoy the views of the city.

Cesny Krumlov is a wonderful city to wander through. The historic atmosphere that characterizes the city can be felt everywhere. If you are in South Bohemia, be sure to visit this city. Český Krumlov is beautiful!

Another Prague Church of St.Kliment, Kostelní (Church) street, Prague 7
P1090301.JPG
This church is documented in 1234. After the fire in 1603 it was reconstructed in Baroque style. Nevertheless, Romanesque and Gothic elements were preserved.
A canceled cemetery is removed around the church. There are many funeral sculptures here. We see Saint John of Nepomuk among trees and bushes.
In every season the church looks completely different. I'm glad here.
