WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT
Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @bucipuci:
Yesterday, I was introduced to the duties of Český Krumlov, among other things. Many photos showed a view of the city and partly also the castle. I chose the castle bridge, which connects the lower and upper parts of the castle. The picture was taken from Deer Garden.
I rewarded @bucipuci entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.
Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!
Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

Because of its beauty, the Lednice-Valtice complex is known as the “Garden of Europe”. In addition to the magnificent chateaux of the Liechtenstein family in Lednice and Valtice, there are also a number of romantic buildings, lovely natural nooks and glittering ponds. One of the largest man-made landscapes in the world.
Bethlehem Chapel, Old Town, Prague
The Bethlehem Chapel was built in 1391. It was huge at that time. It could be up to 2,000 people i it. That was 5% of all Prague citizens.
Master Jan Hus preached in it. But the chapel was abolished during the reforms of Emperor Jsef II. In 1786 she had to be demolished. It threatened to fall.
It was rebuilt in the 1950s. According to preserved drawings and archaeological research. In addition to church purposes, the chapel serves as an assembly hall for several Prague universities.
The Neo-Gothic church of St.Ludmily is located on Namesti Miru, near I lived for 3 years. The author is Josef Mocker, who created much in the neo-gothic style for the Czechs. In addition to St.Ludmily, the architect was the finishing of the St. Vitus Cathedral at the Prague Castle, the St. Peter and Paul Basilica at Vyšehrad and many other buildings.
St. Nicholas Church
This church interior genuinely looks like something out of a book or video game. It’s so beautiful!
For me it lost a star only because I am a massive History nerd, so personally would’ve liked more information to be available on the church and the artists whose work adorned it at the church.
St. Vitus Cathedral
Well worth grabbing a ticket to go inside if you're planning on visiting the Prague castle grounds. The interior is amazingly beautiful and the stained glass windows are unlike any I have ever seen elsewhere. The Alfons Mucha window is especially noteworthy and is one of the first you will encounter along the left side wall as you make your way around the Cathedral clockwise.
Try not to miss any angle and corner ;)
The whole historic center of Cesky Krumlov is a hidden gem of the world, as by walking through it you feel like you are still in the medieval. Wherever you look - left/right, front/behind, up/down you will see something interesting.
A moving statue of Kafka's head. Each level rotates independently, turned with an internal motor.
Prague has happily accepted Kafka as the writer of the city; bus stations advertise the museum dedicated to him and bookstores carry his entire collected works. Other notable writers, like Milan Kundera ("The Unbearable Lightness of Being") have not received similar treatment. As we walked away, all the pieces rotated together to look at us, as if to say goodbye.
Dancing House
For some reason, this is a huge tourist attraction. It's a unique building for sure. I'm not crazy about it but millions of tourists seem to be!!! Totally wacky looking. It is in a great location right on the river. You can't to up in it or inside as far as I know, so take a look. There's no other building like it in the world.
The Sedlec Ossuary is a small Roman Catholic chapel, located beneath the Cemetery Church of All Saints, part of the former Sedlec Abbey in Sedlec, a suburb of Kutná Hora in the Czech Republic. The ossuary is estimated to contain the skeletons of between 40,000 and 70,000 people, whose bones have, in many cases, been artistically arranged to form decorations and furnishings for the chapel. The ossuary is among the most visited tourist attractions of the Czech Republic - attracting over 200,000 visitors annually.
Thanks for choosing my photo ;-)
