Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of North America.
See the winner of the last week´s North American Friday @irvinesimages with the following entry:
The Full Buck Moon. Seen rising above the Sedona landscape is the July full moon, which is traditionally called the full Buck Moon because July is when the bucks antlers are in full growth mode. This full moon comes to life rising up between the last remaining clouds of a dissipating thunderstorm at sunset. Sedona Arizona USA.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #96 - winner announcement!
@worldcapture Asian Sunday entry:
Thale Noi Lotus Lake. The sunrise around this lake was probably the most beautiful one I've ever seen in my life. The golden/orange sky felt almost unreal watching it from the boat. The location was in Phattalung - South Thailand.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #96 – winner announcement!
@vinceboisgard Australian Monday entry:
Broome is a very interesting place to visit in Australia. Famously known for the dinosaurs footprints that can be seen at low tide, it also is the town of the oldest world open air cinema in operation. Not to forget about it beach on which you can witness unbelievable sunset.
@phortun Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:
View of an empty white sand beach and the Caribbean Sea on Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Located just some 13 km (8 mi) off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, Isla Mujeres is a little tropical island that is home to approximately 13,000 people.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #96 – winner announcement!
@jpphotoraphy African Wednesday entry:
Nejjarine Fountain in Fez, Morocco. This beautiful fountain can be found in the Medina of Fez. It is ornamented with mosaics and carvings. Fez' Medina is as confusing to get around as a labyrinth, so you are more likely to discover places like this by accident rather than by searching for it.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - European Thursday week #96 - winner announcement!
@drmincu European Thursday entry:
The Apuseni are probably the wildest part of the Carpathians. Wild animals roam free in the natural reserves and man's touch is barely felt. And the nights are so dark that you can just lay down and gaze the milky way.

Stream running through a lush tropical jungle at the Bri Bri Waterfalls, a beautiful place full of pristine nature located just a few kilometers outside of the little coastal town of Puerto Viejo in Costa Rica.

Cycling in Cienfuegos, Cuba
The sunlight was beautiful when I captured this photo of a Cuban man riding his bicycle on a street in the historic city center of Camaguey. Camaguey is built like a maze and finding the way isn't easy, but getting lost always brought me to another amazing part of the city.

The lighting here is just perfect. Nicely done!
Thank you!
The rainbow balls of Montreal. They decorate Sainte Catherine street with the color of the rainbow. Hurry up if you want to see them, the decoration should be dismantled in September 2019.
The Grand Canyon is truely a fascinating place. But if you you want to catch some really breathtaking views, you have to visit the north rim. It isn't easy to get there but it is totally worth the effort.
Wonderful Weather
Springtime can bring some interesting weather to this high desert arid environment. Ocassional cold fronts drive moisture into the southwest from the pacific coast. A good rain is always welcome here and even a little rain is better than none. This storm was light on moisture but put on a beautiful show. It's just wonderful weather! Sedona Az USA.
Monument Valley is a popular area to visit. It's a red sand desert region on the Utah-Arizona border. It's a Navajo Nation tribal park. The scenes are often used in western movies. When driving through the park we actually saw a cowboy herding his cows.
There was a strong thunderstorm approaching when we were there, which allowed for some nice photos

Excalibur Hotel from Las Vegas, yes it is a castle!
It is inspired by the Knights of the Round Table and you can experience a medieval dinner with game tournaments and performances by world-renowned artists.
I love your Photo Challenge, it's very impressive and to see how diverse incredibly beautiful our Earth is.
Great photo, like a life-like painting
