The moody skies of the Antarctic Peninsula are such a beautiful sight. Although overcast a lot of the time there is still so much to appreciate and the terrain is such a magnificent sight.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #49 - winner announcement!
@axeman Asian Sunday entry:
Having general bus tourist trip around the Dubai one day, that wasn't really too much time to spend at the observation deck of famous Burj Khalifa, maybe some 30 mins only. And was quite lucky by this time to have a scheduled performance of also famous Burj Khalifa dancing fountains and to see it from very unusual point of view - from almost 500 meters top. So here we have the smiling city warmly welcoming the tourists from all over the world. Enjoy it!

@fotogruppemunich Australian Monday entry:
One of the most famous buildings in the world is the opera house in sydney. I was able to capture this picture with my drone at the beginning of August. At the same time, I make a timelapse of this fantastic moment with the canon.

This is another photo from my visit to Split, the second largest city in Croatia, located on the eastern side of the Adriatic Sea. Riva Harbor in Old Town Split is a beautiful promenade with shops and restaurants and plenty of beautiful boats anchored there. I took this photo during a walk through the harbor in the early morning.
Located in the heart of the Riviera Maya, about a halfway between Playa del Carmen and Tulum, Akumal is a tiny coastal town whose name means "the land of turtles" in the old Mayan language and there is a good reason for that - the local bay is where you can find the green sea turtles that come there to feed on the sea grass and algae. Here is a photo of one of them. They are amazing creatures that deserve our full protection and utmost respect.
I want to swim with sea turtles! This would be so much fun.
Yeah, it is very tragic to see them trapped in some plastic garbage as a result of human behavior.... Great pic!
Flat-bottom ship at the IJsselmeer
We started early into the day because we had to reach our destination on time. The sun showed it first signs through the misty sky. Almost no wind. The water just moved because of the waves made by our boat. In the background you see this "black pirate ship". There a couple of boats on the IJsselmeer where just one lonely guy is steering the ship, they are dressed in all black, matching their boat which is also all black.
Have a great day on the calm water or at the beach😀
such an unique impression ~ 💫 ~
I love the mood of this shot. Amazing job.
Very mysterious looking image!
Wineglass Bay, Tasmania
Wineglass Bay in Freycinet National Park was named one of the top 10 beaches in the world, so of course the beach was a stop on my bicycle trip around Tasmania. The beach was no disappointment!
1/320s; 26mm; f/11.0; ISO 100
I have also posted this photo on my blog.
It doesn't look like it disappointed at all. This looks amazing. I would love to take a dip in that water.
Swimming there was amazing!
It sure was not, I would get in right away:)
One of my favourite photos from The Map to Paradise filming trip. This one was taken on the shores of Neko Harbour on the Antarctic Peninsula. I love the penguins expression, although it does look a little sad.
Another amazing pick of yours from Antarctic! Well done.
Thanks, appreciate it!!
There is nothing like the calming view of the ocean to make you relax during a holiday. I took this photo during a hike in a Nature Reserve in East Sooke, British Columbia, Canada. What a beautiful place to explore!
Thank you so much for your contribution Jaco. Have a good one. Tomas
Photo taken in Patanemo beach located at the center of Venezuela. It is a popular place, however in the day that I took this photo was almost empty due to bad weather, so the black and white format suits better to the image. These drifted woods some times appear on the beaches, giving a nice foreground to the photographers.
Thank you so much for your participation with this great B&W image.
A piece of Heaven hidden in Labuan Bajo🤗
-Kukusan Island is a home for more than 70 families of Bajo tribes, strategically located just around 45 minutes from the Labuan Bajo harbour.
The small island got it own beauty with it own beautiful beach and a hill top that is home from to a couple red eagle and some pre-historic fossils.
I took this picture on a boat trip on the Flores sea.
That looks like a great get-away to hang out for a day.... Thank you for sharing...
That's right...a little paradise 🤗-thanks for your positive comment.
The Frozen Kingdom
Another shot from the archive of few year ago very cold winter period at the Baltic Sea. Those time the shoreline of the sea (since Baltic Sea actually is almost fresh water) getting frozen maybe 20-30 meters from the coast covering by ice stones and some more interesting subjects for foreground, like those some steel remains most probably from the boat or small ship.
Shot handheld. Natural light only
Enjoy it!

You have captured a mood in that picture perfectly.
My today’s photo is from beautiful island of Seychelles. It is from small island named La Digue and this island is known as the most picturesque of the Seychelle’s main islands.
Water there is really just as clear and turquoise as it can be seen on the photo…
Just a stunning place!

That sure is a beautiful place.
Haapslau.
This is a small town in Estonia.
It's a place where Tchaikovsky stayed during his vacation.
And you may be suprised but what you see on this photo isn't the lake. This is the Baltic sea.
Camera: Canon 40D
Lens: Tamron 17-50 mm, F/2.8

World ocean's.
Our oceans are great. There is so much to see and explore under water.
Go muck diving at the sandy bottems of Lembeh Straight, Indonesia, and you will find the mimic octopus. So beautiful.
Keep our oceans clean.
Never forget your mask and tuba when you go for a swim. This photography was taken by just snorkeling around in the water of 'Les Saintes' in the Caribbean Sea. The fish are hiding from the big bad swimmer under a small reef.

Little Corn Island / Nicaragua
This is the ocean that enriched my life a million times already... When I travelled to Nicaragua, I discovered a country that seemed to actually be two different countries: one in the west, at the Pacific side, where people were relatively rich, where there was infrastructure, and one in the east, at the Atlantic, where the inhabitants have darker skin, are poorer, where there are no jobs, where there's drug problems, hospitals are regularly flooded because they were built in a marsh for political reasons and where people are still so friendly and share the little they have...
Little corn island was of course an exception, as it's one of the tourists' centers of the country. But here I saw the most beautiful sunset ever, and in that same part of the Atlantic ocean, I got stung by a jellyfish. The island doctor was smoking a joint while laying in a hammock and listening to Bob Marley when I asked him what I could do about the sting. Happy memories of a journey that changed my world view drastically...
Cape Zbib the wild coast
North of Tunisia there is Cap Zbib which is part of Imada de Metline. And here ... it's all we hope to see more beautiful in front of our eyes: a sea in the color of the Pacific, wild creeks, cliffs for spectacular jumps that lead to adrenaline and addiction.
Cape Zbib is irresistible! The place has all the assets: you can choose several places to swim but all are wild, the sea is deep and sublime, you can explore caves or fish.
Once in Cape Zbib, you will never forget it.
The archipelago of Los Roques is one of the most important destinations in Venezuela, its beautiful white sand beaches, waters of critalinas and wrapped under a tropical climate almost always sunny make it one of the most sought after places by those who visit the country. Undoubtedly, Los Roques reflects everything that means the tropical paradise of the Caribbean.
