Great Ocean Road Long Exposure, Australia. In 2016, I escaped Melbourne for a few days to cycle along the famous Great Ocean Road. On the first day, I got unlucky with the weather and instead of spending the night in my tent as I had planned to, I arrived soaking wet at a hostel. Luckily, on the second day the rain had stopped and I was able to make some stops on my way to capture the incredible landscape.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

Another shot from the Mexican island of Holbox. The island´s land area occupies some 56 sq km (22 sq mi) a vast majority of which is still uninhabited, covered with pristine nature consisting of lush tropical vegetation, spotless white powdery beaches and incredibly clear and warm turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. What a place to explore! :)

Xpu Ha is a section of beach between Playa Del Carmen and Tulum. This is one of the areas of the beach that is open to the public and has a road from the 307 Highway to the beach. This beach provides a more remote getaway and makes for a fun day trip out of Playa Del Carmen.

This beach is kind of a gem in the very touristic city Cancún. But it’s touristic for a good reason right? Soft white sand, forever blue sky, and the aqua-blue sea with crystal clear water. A tropical paradise.

Stunning shot! Very familiar place haha :)))

I bet! Was thinking of you and LT when posting. :D

It was an unforgettable trip to the paradise island of Phi Phi. I traveled around Thailand for 2 months and this magical place was chosen to meet the new Year. Island off the coast of Thailand, between the mainland and the island of Phuket. Part of Krabi province. Phi Phi Islands consist of two main islands (Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Le) and 4 tiny islands. I explored the island of Phi Phi Don, it is the only one that has a well-organized infrastructure, full of hotels, restaurants, shops and other tourist places. But at the same time, this island is no less a paradise:)

I also posted this photo on my blog https://steemit.com/photography/@aleksandra.mart/my-trip-to-thailand

Photo taken during the dusk at Antofagasta (Chile), it shows the gray colour of the ocean at this time, and in contrast of the vivid colors in the sky. They form a beautiful continuous colour gradient.
You can see the lights of one of the many ships that are waiting to enter in the port.

A trip to Antarctica is full of moments like these. As you travel from place to place the scenery never fails to amaze and every so often a large iceberg will pass you by.

Bruny Island Sunrise, Australia

Bruny Island is a fantastic getaway close to Hobart, the capital of Tasmania. The island is accessible by car ferry, but I took my bicycle instead. I did not have any bike bags at the time and was carrying all my luggage and water on my back. I decided to set up camp on this beautiful campground located at the piece of land connecting North and South Bruny island. From there, I explored the rest of the island - without my heavy backpack.

Cocoa beach

It is one of the many beautiful beaches in Port Canaveral, United States.
Port Canaveral is the starting point for many cruise lines, so you can see many cruises like Disney Cruise Line, Carnival Liberty and many more lined up at the port.

Make sure to meet the 30-word requirement for your entry. Also, as far as I know, it is some 60 km from Orlando to the closest beach so you might want to edit the location too.

Oh yes.. my bad.. it is actually port Canaveral.. i mixed it up.. Thank you

I always feel great when I look at the ocean. I don’t remember which Caribbean island we see here, but I can imagine myself on a nice beach with a pina colada in my hand and enjoying life. This is not my typical travel destination, but once in a while, a week near the beach is pleasant.
