The temples and pagodas are amazing, so bright and decorative. So much gold in both buildings and statues. I can imagine it is very relaxing being inside, and particularly the outdoors area of the one's with gardens and such. I remember the chicken has importance, but cannot remember what it is, exactly. But you did the post with them lining the road.
A DDS original question: Are the red Chiang Mai vehicles to give people rides around the area, or pick them up to visit? Mr. Curious has to ask his ?? here, like usual.
Thanks for another view of the amazing temples and other sights of your area. So much to see, so little time. Have a nice day my friend, though by the time you get this, it will probably be dark I :

Many thanks for your nice comment. Yeah! We believe that golden color is an auspicious color, so most of architectures, statues, or buildings in temples were decorated with this color.
I like that it’s very relaxing and peaceful, too.
Oh! I’m much surprised that you still remember the chicken statues that were lining on the road in my old post. Really great!!! ;)
Regarding DDS original question, the red Chiang Mai vehicles are for multi-purposes, it’s up to the ones who hire them; they can give people rides around the area or pick them up to visit. Hope this can answer your question, Mr. Curious! ;)
Have a wonderful night, GFF! ;))
