WE MADE IT!!!
the checkpoints had to be a little unnerving, especially with the language barrier.
tbh, I wasn't really nervous at all. I had nothing to hide. The language barrier, if anything, imo, was actually a benefit. They don't wanna waste their time trying to talk to me, they see that we are a family with a ton of crap in our car. Not two young punk kids in a beater looking like we're up to no good.
I didn't hear him at the time, but the one guard at the Zac. crossing asked "destino?" meaning "destination?"...and I responded with "3 kids, yes" as he looked in the back...lol. He didn't care to push the issue and felt content that we were good to go and sent us on our way.
I took a few peeks over the edge on that drive, it was quite the drop. The video didn't really do the scare factor or the views much justice.
We are already enjoying the Mexican food...although you'll really get a kick out of my next video concerning that, hahaha.
Hope you and @farm-mom are doing well bud! Thanks for kickin' it with me!
