A very angry Pacific Ocean and grounded Pasha Bulka at Newcastle. Record ocean swell heights of 14.13m (46ft) were recorded at the deep water buoy 10km (6.2 miles) off Sydney with 296mm (11.6 in) of rain falling in the 24 hour period.

Nice, is it the famous ephemeral surf spot I saw in a few magazine? The one only a few surfer ran in the water to be able to ride the waves created by the boat before the authorities banned them?
