I visited Napa and Sonoma Valley with some friends from San Francisco. The historical town of Sonoma is known as the birthplace of California. And this valley is home to some of the state’s earliest vineyards and wineries. The Mediterranean climate here provides great growing conditions for several grape varieties. It’s fun for us to sample wine in front of this beautiful view.
