@bluebottlefilms Australian Monday entry:
In Sydney, we get some pretty cracking electrical storms every now and then. This bolt of lightning literally lit up the sky over Sydney's CBD almost hitting the iconic Sydney Tower.

@dmytrokorol Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:
We had been finishing our road trip in 2014 in a town of Hel, Poland. We just checked in in a hotel when I realized, something was happening with the light. I grabbed my gear and ran to the sun hoping there should be the sea. Happily, Hel located on a peninsula and the sun were setting on the shore in the shortest distance from me. On the beach, I noticed the seagulls and thought they could be a nice foreground. But they noticed me too, so I ended up trying to catch them and the waves in one shot.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #26 – winner announcement!
@ansharphoto African Wednesday entry:
Quiver Trees, Namibia. The Afrikaners called the trees kokerboom, but because their fibrous, pulpy trunks are easy to hollow out and were once widely used as quivers for arrows for bushmen, they are known as quiver trees. The trees are naturally found in only this one relatively small part of Africa, and typically grow alone, like curiously-formed sentinels guarding the landscape. There are fewer than two hundred of them left in the world.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – European Thursday week #26 – winner announcement!
@stabilowl European Thursday entry:
Another photo of the township of Hallstatt, this time in the middle of a stormy afternoon, looking across to the wharf from the lakeside walkway. The low lying clouds covered the mountains behind the town, making it look mysterious and misty, while some afternoon sun still managed to shine onto the storm clouds illuminating the buildings along the waterfront. A view that is worth getting wet for!

This photo is another from my trip to Sayulita, Mexico two weeks ago to celebrate a friend's birthday. It really was a wonderful time with old friends and meeting new ones. On the last morning of the trip Sunday, I finally managed to wake up early enough to walk down to the dock by the ocean and take sunrise photos on the dock overlooking the Pacific Ocean. I couldn't have asked for a better way to end the trip!
Wonderful shot Matt!
I went on a backpacking trip last fall in the Cascade Mountains, in Washington state. The trees in the photo are larch trees, really amazing. They look like evergreens, but they aren't. Super neat. I'll definitely return to this place next year
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful image!
If it's not fair to have a great opportunity for a bow with a beautiful background this is a great place to go. I enjoyed being able to walk to Washington Square Park one ay from my trip to visit this Marble Arch. I advise you to do everything to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city to visit this tranquil park with amazing views.
Great capture! Thank you so much for your participation. Tomas
I visited Napa and Sonoma Valley with some friends from San Francisco. The historical town of Sonoma is known as the birthplace of California. And this valley is home to some of the state’s earliest vineyards and wineries. The Mediterranean climate here provides great growing conditions for several grape varieties. It’s fun for us to sample wine in front of this beautiful view.
Picturesque! Wonderful image. Thank you!
Views of Colorado Springs from Eagles Peak. This was a very cool hike above the campus of the Air Force academy. It gave you 360 degree views of the Rocky Mountain range and a beautiful mix of snow and greenery. This hike was very difficult as it was the second day in Colorado and I had not yet adjusted to the high altitude climate.
Looks marvelous! Thank you so much for your participation. Tomas
Sunset Over Toronto

I had taken a trip to Niagara Falls with a serviced called the Magic Bus Tour Company. On the way back from the Falls, they stopped outside of Toronto because they knew this spot offered great views. They were right. The light and cityscape were amazing.
Thank you so much for your fabulous entry! Tomas
You are most welcome.
North Rim Sunset
Years ago my son Paul and I went on a photo excursion to the north rim of the grand canyon, Arizona. We hurriedly arrived at this viewpoint right at sunset just in time to get off a few shots. It was gorgeous to say to least and turned out to be a wonderful experience.

Amazing place! Brings back great memories! Thank you!
A long exposure during sunset in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Steel City is also known as the City of Bridges - you can see why. Pittsburgh has a nice vibe and was prettier than I expected it to be.
Amazing shot! Thanky you so much!
Thank you. :)
During our vacation to Oregon earlier this year, we traveled to Crater Lake. While we were there, we met this hiker, who went by the name "Gentleman", who was traveling by foot from Mexico to Canada. He said he had been on the trail for a few months and was hoping to be done within the next month. I could only imagine the stories he has.
Wow! Amazing shot Wes! I think the best you have ever submitted to my challenge! Thank you! Amazing story as well!
Thank you Tomas. He was a really cool guy to talk to. My family had such a great time during that vacation that we wanted fell in love with the beauty of Oregon.
Yellowstone National Park
It is one of the largest and most impressive parks on the planet. Fortunately, it is also one of the best preserved. It is located in the northwest of the state of Wyoming, United States. In addition, it is a recreation area in nature that has around 9,065 km² over a volcanic area.
Fabulous image! Thank you so much for sharing!
Griffith Observatory - Southern California’s gateway to the cosmos :) Nice place to enjoy spectacular views of Los Angeles and the Hollywood Sign. Must see in LA, free admission. I took this image in last week :)
Athabasca Falls, Canada
With its rough but beautiful landscape the Rocky Mountain are a great place to play. Stunning nature and untamed wilderness, passing by will be an experience which you will never forget
I saw this view near the town of Rio Lagartos in Mexico. The water on the left is red because it is used for salt production and the water on the right is from the lagoon near the town. I thought this was an interesting view with dirt road forming a line down the middle between the two distinctly colored bodies of water.
I have been to Rio Lagartos too but I dont have such a cool shot from there. Awesome capture!
Thanks!
Side view of the iconic Santa Monica Pier, a large double-jointed pier at the foot of the Colorado Avenue in Santa Monica, L.A., California. Surrounded by beautiful beaches on both sides, the pier is a popular hang-out spot for both residents of L.A. as well as foreign visitors and tourists.
This is a photo I took with a Nikon D90 when my girlfriend and I got to the california coast after traveling all around oregon for 2 months... we were mesmerized by the beauty of the clouds at ocean level... hope you like it! :)
I love the way the seabird is suspended below the sun setting. This pic reminds me of the type of sunsets we get in my part of the world :-)
Oregon is a strange and beautiful beast.
On the Icefields Parkway between Jasper and Banff you can find several beautiful waterfalls. The most powerful one is Athabasca Falls 30 km south of Jasper. It is known for its large quantity of water going through a narrow gorge and therefore generating a lot of force.
beautiful photo!
This is my favorite of the hundreds of photos me and my girlfriend took in the Grand Canyon... This one was taken with a gopro 4... Is not easy to show in a photo the real magnitude of the place but still i believe you can appreciate the beauty of it!
Brooklyn Bridge and Lower Manhattan view from the sightseeing cruise. Brooklyn Bridge has 486 meters in length and connects two parts of New York – Manhattan and Brooklyn, over the East River. It was built between 1870 and 1883. Beautiful view is also from the bridge.
Ahoj!
Rocky Mountains reflections on Sprague Lake in Colorado. I took this picture yesterday morning, about half an hour after the sunrise. The lake was mostly frozen, but as I walked around it I was lucky to find a few spots where the ice was melting, so I could capture some reflections. The photo is taken from a few inches above the water level and I was standing on thin ice close to the shore. I was happy to leave with beautiful memories and without incidents!
I like how the clouds are just rolling over the top. So serene.
Thank you! :)
I photographed this magnificent elk at Banff National Park, in Alberta, Canada. I was driving along the road and I saw it. I parked and took this photo. Banff is a place were wild life is quite abundant and there plenty of opportunities to take photo of the wild animals.
What a beautiful encounter. The elk looks so calm!
Indeed!
One of the best hike I did. Mount Lafayette is part of the White Mountains of New Hampshire, United States. The view form the top is amazing. Although there was fog most of the time, we were able to admire the sunny peaks a few times during the day.
This is a shot I took of the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco city. It was the start of such wild and offer times dark adventures into west coast USA. Thinking back on them sometimes makes we wonder if I ever saw the sun come back after that.
I love it when the sunset touches the horizon like this. Nice pic :-)
NEW YORK. It is one of the most populated cities in the world, besides one of the most important in terms of economy and culture. There are many people everywhere, so one day is not enough to cover it. It has many beautiful places; among them we have the Statue of Liberty, the Central Park, the Empire State Building, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Rockefeller Center, among others. It is definitely a fascinating city.
During my travels to the Rockies, I got the opportunity to visit Yamnuska Wolf Sanctuary nestled in the foothills of Cochrane Alberta where I got locked in a pen with a pack of wolves for 20 minutes (99% + wolf content purity) . Meet Nova the Arctic Wolf. Would you dare?

Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York. An hour away from Upper East Side by train, but a nice escape from Manhattan. Here you live the suburban New York and you ear a lot of Russian. Plus, you have fun at the park and have a fresh dive in the ocean. A nice day.
Mindblowing and stunning photos. Professional capturing @czechglobalhosts
