Great initiative! But there are only a few countries in the world (Thailand, US, Mexico, and Cuba are the only ones from that list I have been to) where there are always fees for using ATMs; I haven't found one ATM that was not free in five months in South America for example, so maybe it would make sense to only include countries on this list where it actually makes a difference which bank you choose (or mark the other countries green or something like that).
In Morocco I went to ATMs by four different banks, the only one that wanted to charge me a "foreign transaction fee" was Société Générale, the rest had no fees, so if you want to include this one as a bank not to go to feel free to include it on the list :)

That's interesting, thanks for the info. I'm playing things by ear at the moment, so I'm not sure how the list will develop. It's always been my experience travelling in Asia and South America that most ATMs charge fees for using foreign cards, and finding ones that don't is the difficulty. If a country mostly has ATMs that don't charge fees, I guess I'll have to add it to the list in a different way.
If I added Morocco to the list in this format, would you say that it's accurate?
