The Kugelmuguel Republic located at the Prater Park in Vienna Austria, it is a micro state that has a quite interesting history. It declared independence in 1975, because the artist Edwin Lipburguer wanted to build an spheric house in Lower Austria, and he did not get the permissions from the authorities. Due to that he was sent to jail. In 1982 the spheric house was moved to its present location in Vienna, where it is a touristic attraction.
