Anton, the teacher from Germany, invited me to visit his school. From the university, there is only a catwalk to the other side of the road. There I am already expected and a lot is prepared. As in all schools, I am also greeted by the youngest in German. There you are 10000 km from Germany and German is the language of choice for most students, with English and French, as well as Russian and Yakutian.

Yes, you read correctly, the pupils learn here partly 5 languages from the first class. The German culture is in very high esteem, especially Goethe is the hit. Three languages are compulsory from the first class, whereby the students can choose between German, English and French depending on the school. In the large schools in the city, they can even use other languages as an optional subject. Yakut and Russian are also compulsory.

Dort werde ich bereits erwartet und es ist einiges vorbereitet. Wie in allen Schulen werde ich auch hier von den Kleinsten auf Deutsch begrüßt. Da ist man 10000 km von Deutschland entfernt und Deutsch ist die Sprache der Wahl für die meisten Schüler, gleichauf mit Englisch und Französisch, neben Russisch und Jakutisch.

Ja, Du hast richtig gelesen, die Schüler lernen hier teilweise 5 Sprachen ab der ersten Klasse. Die Deutsche Kultur steht in sehr hohem Ansehen, vor allem Goethe ist der Renner. Drei Sprachen sind ab der ersten Klasse obligatorisch, wobei die Schüler zwischen Deutsch, Englisch und Französisch je nach Schule entscheiden können, in den großen Schulen in der Stadt können sie sogar noch weitere Sprachen als Wahlfach belegen. Jakutisch und Russisch sind ebenfalls Pflicht.

Then some pupils are called in and I experience a surprise that I could never have dreamed of. In German, the students explain the school history on these display boards. And in good German, I do not have to ask a single time.

Dann werden einige Schüler herein gerufen und ich erlebe eine Überraschung, die ich mir niemals hätte erträumen können. Auf Deutsch erklären mir die Schüler die Schulgeschichte an diesen Schautafeln. Und zwar auf gutem Deutsch, ich muss kein einziges Mal nachfragen.

But this is not all, now a German theater is presented to me, it is Easter and so is the story of a hare and is totally funny. The fun of the children is not played, they really have real joy in the foreign language and make their cause excellent.

Das ist aber nicht alles, nun wird mir auch noch ein deutsches Theaterstück präsentiert, es ist ja Ostern und so handelt die Geschichte von einem Hasen und ist total lustig. Der Spaß der Kinder ist nicht gespielt, sie haben wirklich richtige Freude an der fremden Sprache und machen ihre Sache ausgezeichnet.

Jeder auf diesem Bild spricht Deutsch, natürlich haben die älteren etwas Langeweile mit dem Kindertheater.

The daytime temperature is already over 7 degrees and so I let the sun of Yakutia shine on me, the technique of heat absorption I have learned from the shaman and it works excellent.

Die Tagestemperatur ist bereits über 7 Grad und so kann ich ganz entspannt die Sonne Jakutiens auf mich einwirken lassen, die Technik zur Wärmeaufnahme habe ich ja von der Schamanin gelernt und sie funktioniert auch ausgezeichnet.
