The main buddhist hall in Sil Sang Sa was Bo Kwang Jeon.
The name, ‘Bo Kwang’ is said to be oriented from the Avatmaska Sutra.
The architectural style of this hall seemed to be strongly influenced from Shilla dynasty.
My mom stood in front of the hall and was looking into the inside of the hall.
The side view of the hall was so simple, its simple design was so beautiful.
The ornament part under the eaves was so impressive.
It symbolized the imaginary animals, e.g. dragons and Phoenix.
The wooden parts were uncolored though, those white color looked like to have its unique beauty
The scenery under the eaves was so splendid.
@slowwalker,
The roof design, it's incredible! The building and the photography of yours gives more details about it! I see your mom was looking at it so well! She might be happy with those travels!
Cheers~
That is indeed spledid. Unfortunately the sky isn't so blue in the Gangnam area today. The sky cannot determine rainning or just cloudy.

Wow! Its surroundings looks so peacefull.
Its looking great in the picture with the beautiful hills. And the wooden design of Bo Kwang Jeon Hall just amazing. Sometimes I am wondering after thinking their creativity. When there was no technology but they have great creativity and its proved by their great working.
What a marvelous place and great pictures. Thanks for sharing this with us. Greetings.
it was an spectacular experience to see that thanks for sharing these shots
Beautiful tiles on the roofs, that is something that I like to paint. The wooden dragon is looking great, like the carving made of wood. It might be difficult to do as one must have good three dimensional thinking :) I hope your mother enjoyed the trip :)
Congratulations @slowwalker!
