'A little car from the sixties'

crta.png

Things change, as do people and times. What was in yesterday, isn't anymore. It is a fact nobody can deny. There are things people found to be modern and beautiful just to realize that after several decades they become awkward from a new perspective.

Why does this happen? I mean one thing should be technology and advancements, which is inevitable but why design, clothes, taste, art, you name it? Is there something that dictates ever faster changes in people's perception of our surrounding?

Is the change dictated and deliberate because someone needs to sell more goods and needs to outdate completely usable things to create space for the new ones? This would cover technology area but why does it apply to everything?

Does someone creates the yearning in people and unconsciously leads them to ever want more and new or is it hard-wired in the human mind to desire a constant change of everyday things? These must be parts of the riddle.

I don't have definite answers to these questions. From today's perspective, this little car appears like a joke. However, nobody can deny its charm. What raises another question. Why do we find old things interesting and beautiful? :D

Enjoy your day! :-)

Wow beautiful .. Special cars
Great post from you
Thanks for sharing..

Times are changing. Of course, the times are changing, who's going to argue? We may not have seen how our grandparents' generation had struggled in education that we might not have felt, cutting down a struggle we might not be able to do.

We may also witness, how our father and mother's generation, interact in daily life, go into various limitations. However, in fact, we still do not doubt there is a change.

There is a change in the trees whose branches are more branching, the rods are stronger, the leaves more spacious. There was a change in the old car that was left in the parking lot since when, with paint that continues to peel, with rust that continues to widen. There was a change in the old faces in the memory, with less sharp eyes, incomplete skin details. There are changes that make a difference.

Without the need to examine extreme instances scattered around his story, there are also changes that sneak into the simplest imagery. Slowly spread, almost senseless. Unconsciously, what is commonly known in the past, is now a foreign object. Change only feels if we look back, and compare with the current condition.

Cool looking car. I love the 'suicide doors'. They were incredibly unsafe, but opening to the front made getting in an out so easy. A really good idea that just didn't work out.

Why do we romanticize that old stuff? I think it's because after an interval of time we tend to forget the crap and remember the good stuff. I can't look at a '58 Chevy without being reminded of a certain girl and, well, just know that I have fond memories of a '58.

Thanks for a great look at an old friend. I remember....

There is such a thing that "the classics are immortal". This applies to works of art and things. If we mean art, then everything is obvious. But if you take things or gear, then it becomes a contentious issue. All this because the current trend exists on the principle - sell more. And to sell more it is necessary to do so that a person would need to buy more. So there was a consumer society. The main engines of this society happened to be "mass hypnosis" or, more simply, beautiful advertising. But the principle of "planned obsolescence" plays an important role. This principle is incorporated by engineers into modern mechanisms and things. All in order that you would change things or cars more often. All for that you would spend more money. I have things since the times of the Soviet Union and you know what? They are still in good condition.

In the harsh things there is a "soul". I do not know how this can be conveyed, it can only be felt. When we see some old things, we have pleasant sensations. New things are created for attractiveness. Earlier cars were created by engineers - and now cars are created by experts in marketing. That's the whole difference :)

Great words @velimir
Everyone want change that is related to everything . life style clothes foods etc.

I dont know what the people thinks . they pick the new things and leave the old just because they want to live better ???
How ??? Is our elder donot have a good life .
But the things is that . people things they were be called as old generation so thats why they pick the new version .however the old is gold for them but they want to be the part of new generation .

Thats a nice looking shape old car..traveling in it reminds you the old era 60s as well.

Old Is Gold.

It is rightly said that old things are classy, durable and Beautiful.
Look at this car, how Classical, clean and Artistic it is,
At first looks, I consider it as Dark Black, but then after observing it more closely, I came to know that it is dark bluish.
As we all know you are an art lover and your passion is reflecting from the car you chose to share with us.

@velimir you beauty.

Good Old FIĆO! :D No school like old school! I saw one pimped up and looking like brand new, a few days back. I was enjoying it more than when I saw Ferrari haha

That is such a cool car. It is one that makes me think of old movies shot in Europe. I have never seen that type of car on this side of the pond. I always felt like they would be way to small for me. I like to have lots of space when driving. lol

Vintage cars fetch a lot of money. I just wished my grandfather did not have to pack his old Mercedes outside where it ended up rusting away. Who knows how much it could've worth now if in good condition. Old is gold in cars and wine.

Change is the fact of this life its necessary for healthy aspects of life and nature too but right saying in this post never ever forget things which have good faith in past even in cultures life style or anything related to your current senario look in your post showing old things is so simple and very attractive its giving a great sign to new generation who can get more beneficial facts from old age nice post fantastic approaches you did here keep going

Love the post, I wish there was more classic car content like this. We are always looking for old cars to get behind the wheel of and film but they are even harder to find then million dollar super cars :-P

Change happens and one must just accept it.

I love vintage cars. Made me remember the time I saw the Ford Model-T in russia during my world ride.

This article reminds me of an old saying, "The only CONSTANT thing is ... CHANGE".
