Motorcycle travel series by @velimir 'Fužine 2' (Part #123)

in #travel7 years ago

Ah, this is a nice place! As if made for me. A few minutes in the sun with my motorcycle jacket next to me, instead of on me, makes a moment! The sun is quite strong but it doesn't matter. The research has shown that people get skin cancer from sunscreen lotions and sunblocking cremes, not from the sun. I always knew there was something dodgy about that theory. All the talk about sun hurting you is just plain stupid. Without the sun, no vitamin D would be created on your skin. We need it. Every living being needs the sun. It is insane to block the natural creation of vitamin D with a cancerous titanium-based product. Use your better judgement and throw away all that creams. Its just business, making rich people richer on account of your health.

Where was I? Ah yes, the sun gently caresses my skin as I stare in the water in front to me. The water is gently touched by a very light breeze, as all my thoughts take their most positive stance. :D

I turn my head to the left and find a very peculiar exhibit. It seems to be a big sculpture of a boat with houses on it. "My precious" is the name. What does it remind me of?

From the other side, it is even more interesting. It is a very strange childish art vision but I like it. The idea is grand and can talk to many.

Oh well... here we see it's not so childish from the front. A piece of art with a definite surprise. :D

Enjoy your day! :)

i am live in india and in village,we are doing agriculture, out of 24 hours we r 9-10 hours in a field for work under the sun ,my grandpa also did this ,he is now 90years old no cream no facewash is used by him but he is still healthy but in city people use lots of creams and materials but they couldn't live more than 70 years ,,yes@velmir u r right these r only to advertisement of products to earn money

@velimir wonderful information, really sun is important for us.
why we are using sun blocks creams to avoid from its light?

Yes you are right. In Africa people live in the sun and are always exposed and you never hear that one of them has skin cancer.
Everything is just made up to make people pay money for creams and medication.

sry but in Africa people have different genetic and skin...

Skin cancer craze started in the 80ties with the excessive use of sun products ;)

africans have higher concentration of melanin that prevent ultra violet rays from damaging the skin compared to the rest of the world, that is why their is lesscase of skin cancer in africa, the enverionment has caused african to alter their genetic makeup so as to survive the sun

Africans also get sun burned and use ochre (a red sand) mixed with fat or butter and applied to the skin to protect themselves from the sun.

The name of the mud may vary from region to region, but here where I live we see it applied often. Certain medicinal plant extracts are used as well, the tribal folk know how to apply it and not run to supermarkets at a whim.

the photo looks awesome especially the shot by the water, and the wood artwork is interesting, love your series of articles

Very interesting boat sculpture - sort of reminds me of a modern day ark with the buildings on the boat - and then at the front you find a figurehead as you would find on Viking long boats - most confusing. Lovely to look at still though.

I want to go with the motorcycle. I like adrenaline :D I'm glad you enjoyed the beautiful weather and I appreciate your advice from the end of the post: "I encourage everyone to use own texts, thoughts and images as much as possible. really awesome place and great photography done by you sir..you always share a new stuff with us and yes are right vitamin D is very important to every one..and there are many products in the market saying that skin lotion will protect you from the heat of sun..but most of us we know that due to pollution made by human beings ozone layer is very badly effected..and that is why sun is radiating harmful ultraviolet rays..and that is why skin cancer is caused..nice post thanks for sharing..

that is also a very questionable theory ;) never heard animals run away from the sun and get skin cancer...

ha ha..great reply..you are awesome sir
