You've got yourself a deal my friend. We just have to figure out the logistics. 😊 I do appreciate the way you tactfully refer to that metal loop thingy because I knew it wasn't a hinge when I wrote about it but as you have discovered, my knowledge of rusty metal/iron, loop/hinge/hook objects is dismally poor.
So rather than hazard a guess as to it use, I might refrain from doing so, if that is ok with you.😁
