Thank you so much @lesmann ๐๐
Yes, thatโs rightโฆ hahaha lol ๐ I need to go outside do Spain to talk Spanish. Crazy when you think about it. Funny also.
The French are so much better in that regards. The integration of none French people is just great.
It blends perfectly and is accepted. You see it also in food here.
Yes, Paris is just great. As long as you stay away from the touristy areas. Go off the beaten path.
The backstreets where the locals live and play. ๐๐ค๐
Sure enjoying the French cappuccinos ๐โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ
Thanks a lot @lesmann ๐ staying until Tuesday night โ๏ธโ๏ธ 2 more full days ๐คฉ๐๐ป๐๐ป
Good Day to You! ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐๐ปโโ๏ธ@littlebee4 !
Yes it is funny, a sign of human nature..๐ค๐ค
And I could imagine that the French would be better at integration then the Spanish...
You can see it here as well..๐
And Yes, if I was there I would also like more to see the culture of the normal French person instead of "Western - French Style"... I am sure You know what I mean..๐
Glad You are enjoying the French Cappuccino's, they might be a touch better than in Spain as Well!๐๐๐
Enjoy Your Tuesday and,
"Stay Safe"!

Good evening to you @lesmann ๐๐ป๐
We are back home, arrived all safely and sound. โ๏ธ It was a late flight and than it got delayed tooโฆ so we didnโt arrive home before 1am the next โmorningโ hehehe ๐คญ tiring to say the least. But the drive back was better during the night as less traffic and tourists that donโt know were to go hahaha ๐คฃ๐๐คฃ๐๐คฃ
Yes, it was great to observe. Everywhere we went. You could see it and feel it in the energy of people.
Yep I know exactly what you mean. And that is why we only did 3 touristy locations. The Eiffel Tower, champs Elysees and the Sacre Coeur. Every where else we went far far far away from the tourists. Days we didnโt see any. So we were not surrounded by their โmade up worldโ to please the tourists.
We saw the true โParisโ
To bad it is over alreadyโฆ our days there. As the city grew on me.
Even the locals, they were so friendly. Not touristy friendlyโฆ like they wanted something.
Nopeโฆ sitting on a terrace and a local starts talking to you. Really interested about our visit there off the beaten track. We talked for 2 hours hahaha ๐คฃ about everythingโฆ making the world right hehehe ๐คญ
Than, while sitting somewhere, locals walking by and really greeting you. Than saying have a wonderful day etc.
can you imagine we were hesitant in the beginning. As we are not used to that anymore. People being polite, friendly and sincere. We thought first they want something. But they didnโtโฆ just a friendly warm greet on their way pass. ๐๐๐๐ปโ๏ธ
It amazed us so muchโฆ we are so not used to that in Spain or the UK or the Netherlands.
It made our stay rather special. As it happened daily. ๐คฉ๐โ๏ธ๐๐ป๐๐ป And the locals were also polite. Another thing that jumped out. ๐คฉ
The cappuccinos in France were for sure better than the ones in a cafe here in Spain, but equally good as the ones I make at home ๐๐โ๏ธโ๏ธ Hehehe ๐คญ
Thank you so much, you too enjoy your dayโฆ it is already Wednesday ๐๐ปโ๏ธ๐ด๐
Time goes to quickly when you have fun.
Stay safeโฆ
Good Morning to You @littlebee4 !
๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ผโ๐โ๐๐ผ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
I am Very Glad that You made it back home (to Spain) Safe and Sound! Good Deal!
๐๐ผ๐ซโ๏ธ๐ฌ๐๐ผ
I am glad that You hung out with some real French people instead of the already tourist trained folks!
๐๐๐
You could see what they are really like and that is a good thing. Tourist trap people are only interested in how to get you to spend money. Your cultural concerns are very secondary to them...๐ค
It is funny though, that You mention even friendlier than The Netherlands. I found The Netherlands to be the friendliest place I ever was. Well also the whole Benelux Area.. Of course... People tend to "act" very friendly if they know your an American Soldier, or agent thereof...
But honestly, in The Netherlands people out of the blue told me when I was paying too much for parking. Played late night movies on the sides of buildings so everyone could see.. Really, Really Cool, what Your not going to find here...
I had thought that Cappuccino's in France would be better than Spain, just had the idea..๐ค๐๐ค
Good You have it down, for at home!๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
Thank You so Very Much, Thursday morning for You now..
Take Care and Stay Safe - All Ways!
Have a Wonderful Day!
๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ผโ๐โ๐๐ผ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
Good evening to you @lesmann ๐๐ป๐๐
๐๐ป๐ณ๐
Thank you so much ๐๐๐ all doneโฆ ๐ซโ๏ธ๐ฌ next one probably will be an explore the area you want to move too, flightโฆ ๐ค๐ป๐ค๐ป
Yes, the Dutch people are very helpful and think about their neighbours. But this sooooo depends on the area you are in. They are good at talking behind your back and pretending. You never see who they really are in their homes, they have multiple masks for different occasions. I lived in the Netherlands for 28 years of my lifeโฆ and it changed so much. Not for the good though. Not sure if I could life there anymore. I probably choose somewhere else first.
The French were really great, and it was strange at first as we were not used to it. At the end it was just cool to greet others and spread some friendliness ๐๐๐ป๐
Back in Spain, people are pushy again, donโt have room walking by. In France everybody makes sure everybody on a pavement has space. In Spainโฆ nope, they rather bump into you than move a little, even though they have space on their side.
It is rather a contrast, being back now. And it so adds to our list why we want to move out hahaha ๐คฃ๐๐คฃ๐๐คฃ
Yes, and people always will be different for government personal, military and policeโฆ in most countries.
But in the Netherlands it is strange, they donโt care about the police. And go into full fights and discussions with them. As they are not carrying or able to do something back. So some people just laugh in their face and walk on. When stopped by them. I have seen this many times.
Here in Spain they are afraid for them. Such a difference again. As they are rather brutal and hard.
US is a whole other storyโฆ.
The thing you see and encounter when you live in another country. But it gives you multiple viewsโฆ about differences. ๐ค
The home equivalent is a sachet of powderโฆ perfectly balanced. You just poor hot water in it after boiling it ๐คญ๐ hehehe lol but still it is great. Easy for home use. For sure donโt have any fancy coffee machine hahaha lol not needed and just adds up to more belongings. We need to reduce our stuffโฆ
You are welcome ๐๐ป anytime.
Thanks a lotโฆ yep Thursday morning already. Wowโฆ I did caught up yesterday with my notifications from the last 5 days that I missed. Now going through the ones of the night time ๐๐ค
Have a wonderful day today and enjoy your evening ๐๐ป๐โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ On my cappuccino now ๐ค
The "Two Faced" European, I myself have known a few. But The Dutch did seem far less so than Germans. And like You said, since the Police respect is low, they may not care. Or the working for U.S. (or being American for that matter), may also come into play....๐ค
Well I am going to be honest with You....
Americans are probably - Especially in the New Jersey / North East pretty rude. It was another reason I got away from there when I landed. Though I will admit that after this, I would rather have someone be rude to my face than plot behind my back.
Yes the multiple views will help - immensely!
Funny, I have also down throttled to "instant coffee"...
Mostly the same reasons, with a twist..๐๐๐
Enjoy Your Cappuccino's this Morning and have a Wonderful Friday!
๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ผ๐๐๐ผ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
They sure are, but these things you donโt see as a visitor. You need to live there for a bit.
I understand what you say. Yes, me too. Tell me in the face everything, but not behind my back. So I think it isnโt a problem when the are ruderโฆ in general. You do know what is happening at all times.
I think I prefer that. Than people trying to manoeuvre around each otherโฆ pretending.
Funny funny.
It is said that some people donโt respect certain things. Also the respect the older generation had towards the older people. I see this is disappearing. That is a concerning thing. Not good at all. In many ways.
It sure helps our multiple views from other countries. We can throw it all in the mix and show what we learned and how we evolved. It is good. Somehow it is like being a chameleon. You can change and adjust very quickly as you have the โtoolsโ to do so ๐๐๐๐ป
Hahaha you did tooโฆ hahaha funny another similar thing although it is a small detail.
Thanks, I had my first one. I think it is time for another one now. And some lunch ๐๐โ๏ธโ๏ธ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Be right back and follow the rest of my notifications ๐ค
Enjoy your dayโฆ hope it was a good one today!
