The voice of the captain woke me up. Sam was still in deep sleep while everyone were busy preparing for themselves. The captain announced that we will arrive as early as 5AM.
We arrived at Nasipit port safely at around 5:25AM. Porters were rushing up to the ship while others are busy carrying their respective luggages. Before you go down from the, you need to check your things first if it's complete or have not anything behind.
Right outside the gate are tricyles going to the bus terminal.
The fare is Php10 per person excluding your luggage. We took the winding road. It scary for a while because the driver needs more force to maneuver the tricycle.
We took the bus via Davao for about 5 hours. Yes 5 hours of sitting. Good thing the bus is equipped with wife and TV so its not boring at all. At the moment, the fare from Nasipit to Trento our drip-off station is Php 290. It's kinda expensive.
The province of Agusan del Sur is mostly agricultural land. Along the way you could see ricefields, corn fields or coconut. I really missed these views everytime I go to the province.
We arrived at Trento terminal at about 11:30AM. Another 30 minutes going to our destination Sta. Josefa via motorcycle.
The scenery is so beautiful, greeny and fresh.
Yes! Home at last. My mother was so happy to see me and her grandchild. Still the same, the house is surrounded with flowers. This is what I missed in the province. I missed my parents very much. I seldom see them due to distance and time. Sam was so happy too, she was able to fulfill her promise to visit them again.
They're too old already. But I thank God for giving them long life and enjoy life and see the fruit of their labor. I thank God also for giving me the chance to visit them again.
But inspite of time and distance, our love and care for them never ends.

I always take the boat from cebu to nasipit when I visit my relatives in Butuan. Are the ceres buses from butuan to davao very nice? comfortable?

You may choose airconditioned bus or not. Yah the buses are comfy and big overloading is not allowed already.
