Today, we are celebrating our Flores De Mayo Children's Day or Culminating celebration to end the event for this May. And as you can see, the people (catechists and their students) from different barangays or chapels came to join and enjoy the event. It was held in the Canduman Gymnasium.

They are wearing their chosen color to recognize which chapel they are in. In my chapel, "Birhen sa Barangay", I chose the color yellow to represent our chapel.

The event was started with a holy mass and followed with the event proper. There were games included in the program and then, there are also presentations presented by the kids where they were preparing for it.

I wasn't able to get pictures from the other presentors since there were 26 chapels who presented. Two chapels did not present due to lack of kids and time pressure. The song that has been played multiple times is the Top 1 dance craze here in the Philippines, Momoland's song, "Bboom Bboom". I kept on dancing that song because I got to memorize all the steps since I am a big fan of Korean pop.

During the afternoon, since it is a whole day celebration, presentations and games are still continued. Then during the ending, awarding of the quiz bowl winners came next, yet, I forgot which chapel were they. Surely that the catechists of these following students are very proud. But you know, everyone is a winner.

The event is very successful, though the night before that was so stressful. I am part of the decoration committee and I went to the church at 3 pm and worked straight 'til 10 pm without dinner. Since I was assigned in making the letters and I actually had difficulties with it.

But thank God with the help of the PYCC, my colleagues and I were able to surpass all the struggles. I really want to extend my gratitudes to them. Because in my 1 year stay in PYCC, they are like family to me.

The designs were inspired in barrio fiesta. It's one of my ideas though. Haha.

They were doing the set ups since I was busy making the letters.
Then they bought burger and softdrinks for our snacks (yet, I considered it as my dinner). And at 9:30 pm (Philippine time), its's done! And we took a group photo before we went home.
