Thank you for your submission. Your effort on contributing open source community is appreciated.
There are some key points missing in the contribution which we are looking for, to assure quality in contributions we reward. The contribution is not considered for the potential reward because of the reasons listed below:
- The contribution should add value to the project: To be considered as valuable, contributions should provide new, innovative, or superior content relative to the existing content on the same subject. Since the official documentation is already a good source for the methods explained, and there are many similar tutorials on the web which provides the nearly same content, your contribution is not considered as a contribution we are looking for.
- Project repository should be linked: You should provide the link to the GitHub repository of the project you contribute. The one meant with "project repository" is not the one containing your supplementary files, instead it is the one belonging to the project, in your case, Electron.
Guideline Reference:
- Submission may not be considered for a potential reward if the content submitted does not provide sufficient value in term of volume, potential impact and relevance.
- All contributions submitted must be linked to an open source project with a GitHub repository.
Considering the presentation of the contribution, I have some suggestions for your future contributions which might be helpful.
- Separate paragraphs: To avoid harming readability of the post, it is better to use shorter paragraphs and giving breaks between those is important.
- Avoid repetition: Frequent usage of same words or sentences like the words you were using explaining methods,
With this method
, breaks the flow of the reading and irritate readers as a result. You can use colon punctuation in that kind of situations. - Avoid full italic text: Even though this one could be acceptable as a personal choice, too much formatting in a long text will most probably cause a bad reading experience.
I hope my clarification and suggestions are helpful enough to see you sharing better contributions for the open source community in the future.
