Only about 2,010 SP, and I have said it many times that the flags are nothing. I have answered many comments from tons of minnows confused and upset about the flags to ignore them as they are only 1/10th of a cent.
But it has caused a lot of confusion and frustration, I have spent a lot of time educating users to ignore them, but it hasn't removed all the confusion and frustration from them.
I never once claimed it hurt anyone, in fact, if you look at my numerous comments on it, I have told people time and time again to ignore it. Even making one comment on this is a complete waste of my time and costs me more money in time to even respond to this comment than the entire network has caused in financial damage.
off of steem and dumping Steem.The simple fact is users don't understand flags, especially malicious ones. Look at @jerrybanfield, he lost his mind and quit Steem because he wanted to see flags removed so everyone can milk the system anyway they want, he now spends his time trying to get people
It comes down to the Broken Window Theory, if people see people getting away with bad behavior, they are likely to mimic it. The bad actors are also likely to do more and worse if they are validated by success.
I would much rather ignore all this, it's a complete waste of my time, as the flags are meaningless, but stopping it isn't.

Very time consuming but to make steemit better is worth all the work we do.
Most just have such short sighted vision of this platform because their greed overpowers thoughtful reasoning!

But on a serious note: what markymark did is hilarious and in HF20 the bandwith problem shouldn't be a problem at all. (If I waste my RC on popcorn memes and I don't have no more RCs then shame on me)
And actually, the amount of bandwidth from a popcorn bot is laughable in comparison to all those auto-followers & spammers.
