“I have cellulite on my thighs, stomach and back of my arms"
Your liver acts as the body's washing machine, working constantly to clean and remove both internal toxins (those produced by your own metabolism) as well as external toxins (those produced from outside sources). _
Your liver also happens to be the production site of 80 to 85 percent of T3, the metabolism-modulating thyroid hormone.
Your liver is also responsible for the evacuation of metabolized estrogens (the methylation pathway in the liver) to make way for more healthy estrogens.
Your liver needs to eliminate the metabolized, or “used up hormones” to make space for new ones.
If the liver filter is damaged by toxins or clogged up (blocked) with excessive waste material it will be less able to remove small fat globules (chylomicrons) circulating in the blood stream. This fat may then gradually build up in many other parts of the body, including other organs, and in fatty deposits under the skin and cellulite in the buttocks, thighs, arms and abdominal wall starts to develop.
If the diet is low in fiber, some fats (especially cholesterol) and toxins that have been pumped by the liver into the gut through the bile will re-circulate back to the liver rather than being eliminated.
A high fiber diet will reduce the re-circulation of fat and toxins from the gut back to the liver. The inclusion of plenty of raw fruits and vegetables, as well as ground-up raw seeds, will increase both soluble and insoluble fiber in the gut, and reduce re-circulation of unwanted fat and toxins. Rice or wheat bran, psyllium husks and homemade muesli can boost fiber efficiently.
