MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. The Torah is the sacred text of the Jewish people

  2. The eucharist celebrates Christ's sacrifice to save mankind.

  3. Christ regarded moneylending in the temple as a sacrilege and cleared them out.

  4. The church decided to consecrate a new graveyard as the old one was full.

  5. Cortes deliberately decided to desecrate Mayan temples in order to subdue the Mayan people.
