MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Her favorite science was biology.

  2. To the five year old girl, her mother seemed omniscient, always knowing when she had done any mischief.

  3. Luckily he was still conscious when they pulled him from the river.

  4. Few people were prescient enough to realise that the forces of globalisation would lead to World War 1

And you could update your 4th sentence, by ending it with "would lead to WW 3." Be afraid.
