RE: Vocab-ability Prefix–307 (post__ = after) – A More Powerful Vocabulary (earn UpVotes with “Vocab Practice” exercise)

MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Post meridiem is a Latin phrase which means "after noon".

  2. The businessman donated money to the local school on condition there was a plaque mentioning his philanthropy so that he was remembered for posterity.

  3. Lots of babies born after WW2 were posthumous babies thanks to their fathers dying in battle.

  4. Most jurisdictions only require post mortems if the doctor signing the death certificate is unsure of cause of death or suspects foul play.
