RE: Vocab-ability–198 (rid, ris = laugh) – A More Powerful Vocabulary (earn UpVotes with “Vocab Practice” exercise)

MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. It's ridiculous that someone who has been arrested for larceny and still doesn't know its definition could possibly be qualified, let alone endorsed, as a candidate for attorney general.
  2. His poor play on the gridiron Sunday earned him derision from sports commentators all around the country on Monday.
  3. Her poorly thought-out proposal was promptly met with ridicule from her colleagues.
  4. A bold statement that is so wrong deserves to be memed and ridiculed.
