    The Colonel’s error judgment about the enemy’s location to sway in battle was the reason of derision from his command.

  3. Ridicule.
    In his mind it wasn’t about learning the game but ridicule on how stupid and unfair the rule of the game was.

  4. Ridicule.
    The other team in the football game were about to ridicule their rivals for having scored the least in the final championship.

What most people do at most parties is mostly ridiculous. Right??

"MY VOCAB PRACTICE."

Ridiculous. He told a ridiculous story of how he got his black eye and no one believed him.

Derision. The people in the audience showed their derision for the lousy performance of the entire ensemble by laughing during all the wrong scenes.

Ridicule. Even though she did most of the care taking, there were some in the family who still unjustly ridiculed her, nonetheless.

Ridicule. People who do bad things will usually endure a fair amount of ridicule because of it.

MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Ridiculous:
    You should take my ridiculous comments very personal as they are my way of secretively poking fun at you.

  2. Derision:
    The bully used derisive tactics to get Kierquo to steal his parent's wallet and give it to him.

  3. Ridicule:
    The ridicule I had to put up with in high school simply because I chose to play chess, hacky-sack, and Frisbee in the school gym is one of the reasons I didn't like hanging out with many kids.

  4. Ridicule:
    I'm going to find the ways to ridicule you that will have your children's children hiding out underneath rocks thinking there are poisonous snakes ready to eat them up should they dare to think of getting out.
