  2. Disappear.
    The child seemed to disappear into the crowded coat rack in the department store.

  3. Disagreeable.
    The patient became disagreeable when she didn't want to go to physical therapy.

  4. Dishonest.
    The woman was being dishonest when she told the policeman that she didn't see the homeless man steal the loaf of bread.

  5. Disinterested.
    I became disinterested when they became argumentative and agitated, and left the conversation.

  6. Digress.
    She seemed to digress from the prepared statement and went off on some tangent.
