MY VOCAB PRACTICE

1. Why does the BBC interviewer interrupt the government minister so much?

2. The entrepreneur had to declare bankrupt when he failed to get the bank to extend his loan.

3. He had a car accident and the impact resulted in a rupture of his spleen

4. Britain's vote to leave the EU caused a rupture in the illusion of Europe's progress to "ever closer union"

5. He was able to bribe corrupt police officials into dropping charges against him

MY VOCAB PRACTICE

1. The man had decided to make the poor decision of robbing a bank when he became bankrupt and desperate.
2. The robber was interrupted when a cop showed up at the bank to deposit a large sum of cash.
3. The cop slammed his body into the criminal and ruptured his ribs in his attempt to flee.
4. A small bag of cannabis fell out of the mans pocket when the corrupt cop pushed him to the ground, so he took it for himself as a bonus.

1. Interrupt.
   The flow of traffic in the highway is being interrupted by road construction workers fixing and making road improvements for commuters.

2. Bankrupt.
   The company he managed went bankrupt due to lack of cash flow and debt insolvency from the banks and other investors.

3. Rupture.
   It was decided both by the patient and her physician to rupture her infected knee surgery for better healing.

4. Rupture.
   The big water balloon caused a rupture when it got tossed over the swimming pool for everyone there to hear and how it splashed as it landed on the cement.

5. Corrupt.
   It is more likely that a business entity will get corrupt if there is no checks and balances in place by management as an oversight functionality in the accounting system.

   The bank employee, a middle aged man with a hard plastic coffee cup from Delight's Bakery, interrupted his bosses meeting by crashing through the double doors unannounced.

2. Bankrupt:
   "I bann...kkruptttt - bankrupt, and it is th...anks to yyyouuu fuckers whose seats at thessse tabbles," he drunkenly yelled as the secretary hung onto his double-breasted military style trench coach from behind.

3. Rupture:
   He spun around, rupturing the woman's face with the back of his hand and burning her with the hot rum and coffee mix that came out of the cup.

4. Rupture:
   Larry sat at the head of the table and smiled a sinister smile while looking at the ruptured woman's face.

5. Corrupt:
   "Your corrupt act is just what we needed to put you away for life," Larry said to Billy, the ex-bank employee.

1. Interrupt. Kindergartners were taught not to interrupt the teacher when he or she is speaking to the class.

2.Bankrupt. Many people get into debt and have to go bankrupt and start all over again.

1. Rupture. By the time she got to the hospital her spleen had ruptured.

2. Rupture. The rupture in the woman's spleen was caused by direct trauma to her upper left quadrant of her abdomen, as she was thrown towards the steering wheel upon impact with the embankment.

3. Corrupt. The corrupt politician knew he was lying when he falsely campaigned on higher wages for union workers in the textile plant.

1. It is considered impolite and unprofessional to interrupt a person mid speech.
