    Systemic paradigm shifts are measured like geological movements as waves.
  2. Geologist
    Geologists must have vast knowledge of the earths elements in order to determine the compounds of rocks.
  3. Geography
    Geography is a compounded word, formed by the Greek "Geo", which means Earth, and "Graphein", that means Graph or Mapping.
  4. Geocentric
    Even with all the advances in geographical science over the past centuries, there are a rather big percentage of people who have a geocentric point of view and think that the Earth is the center of the galaxy.
  5. Geothermal
    It is a common thought that geothermal energy may be the key of the colonization of Mars.

I don't believe the fourth one, I believe that we humans have some meaning one way or another... But that's a philosophical topic for another day.

I agree. But I love the fact that you can compose such an interesting statement as #4. And in certain ways, humans may be less significant than bugs.

MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. Geology:
    Geology was made into the most boring subject when I was attending school.
  2. Geologist:
    Geologist of today are opening up to the fact that plants and crystals can speak to us.
  3. Geography:
    Can the I Ching said to be a good source if one wants to learn about geography?
  4. Geocentric:
    Geocentric views of the past went largely unchallenged by the “thinkers” of the day because to go against the WORD of “God” was punishable by death.
  5. Geothermal:
    Sally, the geothermal equipment has show us that this spot is a volcano about ready to erupt.

What was the geothermal equipment – a seismograph or a simple thermometer?!?

Not a clue. I made it up thinking that there might be a tool that can detect when a volcano is going to erupt.
