MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. A typical day of a corporate employee who work in Kuala Lumpur and commute by a car involves at least 20 minutes of being stuck in the traffic jam.
  2. Our new friend who moved here could not understand certain words that my group of friends use because some of them are regional slang words.
  3. The poor animals were killed in brutal ways in the slaughterhouse.
  4. The political party was divided because some of the members with ideological differences refused to work together.

    p.s. Being stuck 20 mins in a traffic jam aint bad. In New Delhi, it can be hours. Even in Toronto, 1-hour jams are not uncommon.

    Thank you! That can be so frustrating and inconvenient especially during emergencies. I'm glad that it doesn't happen as often here except during peak times in certain areas.
