@timcliff
you are always on point...thanks for your effort to put us through..
one question...if you have high steem power from 125$ worth, can you be able to upvote for more than 50x daily...does it mean with higher steem power one can maintain his voting power...and does more upvoting deplete steam power fast enough one has to buy more...
all these sounds complex to me as am new but with your guide..i shall keep up...
I still await your comment on my intro post Tim...You have been splendid...you just had my witness vote
You have a certain amount of voting power. Each time you cast a vote, you use up some of your voting power. As your voting power goes down, your votes are worth less. Your voting power also recharges over time.
With the vote slider, you are able to cast fourty 25% votes each with 1/4 the strength, and use up the same amount of voting power as if you cast ten 100% votes. The votes would each be worth 1/4 the rewards as well.
ok....so i can set it for either 10 votes at 100% or 25% for 40 votes...if so, where...and can i buy steem power to power up my vote so it dosnt depreciate...
You currently need around 500 SP to be able to use the slider. This change would lower that limit to 125.
If you buy more SP it means that you can have the same influence over rewards without using as much voting power. A user with 1000 SP voting at 50% strength has the same effect as a user with 500 SP voting with 100%.
