This may be an elementary question for most users, but I am trying to figure out how to get my voting power to go up. The reason I ask is because my understanding was that you just have to not upvote anything for a couple of days. Now as I am typing this I remember the person who introduced me to steemit said there is an optimal amount of votes per day, I think four. So nevermind LOL. But still comment below if you have any related interesting useful experiences with steemit!!!
Every time you vote, your voting power goes down by 2%. Every day your voting power increases by 20%.

Voting power or steem vote power.. If you're looking to boost voting strength you need to buy or accumulate more steem power, if you're trying to maximize on your votes, wait a full day or 2 or more until voting content, cheers!

It is handy and I have heard conflicting accounts as to whether it refills to 100% over 24 hours or refills 20% every 24 hours.
It would be nice if synergistic voting cost progressively less voting power - up to a point. :c)
I am unaware of any way to fill it other than through waiting. Sorry.

Everything is auto-managed (the % power/strength of votes is constantly modified). Once you join the guild, there is nothing else you need to worry about as long as you follow the simple rules

The more steem power you get paid the more your voting power gets up... Once you have great voting power you can vote 10 times 100% a day or 100 times 1 % etc. until it goes really down. Every day your voting power also recovers 20% of what you already voted. So yes, give upvotes.. the power comes back, you support more people, get more followers that upvote for you, get more steem power paid out and have more voting power in the end ;)
