All these ice, where do they come from. Is it the extremely low temperature that freezes the body of water. It's just so amazing.

The ice forms on the surface of the ocean water in our little cove when the temperatures stay below 0 for many days in a row. Then, because of the rising and falling tides, the ice layer breaks up and looks like these floating ice pieces. I went out today at the very low tide, there are pieces of ice all over the beaches today, left there from the lowering tide.
